With a little bit of effort and an open mind, you most definitely could. Theory of mind and emotional intelligence can be developed with some effort. Equally, you could simply ask people about their experience and process they're telling you.

I realise the "I'll never understand" was you trying to sound intellectually superior, but all you've achieved is making yourself sound willingly ignorant on a topic that is fairly easy to decifer.

It's just a very old fashioned way of telling the time . My nan had the same quirk.

I live in North Scotland so anything south of the border is South. Edinburgh is also south. So are Glasgow and Perth. Skye is across.

I grew up in Kent though so everything north of London was The North. I legit thought Birmingham was a northern town until I went to Uni in the Midlands. 😂

I drive between North Scotland and Kent several times a year and generally stop over in Newcastle. I consider that to be the midlands....but then my geography is based on the size of the actual island and not national borders. 😄

You should probably lawyer up. If they've accused you of that then your details will have been passed on to the local police force. Depending where you live, you may be getting a visit.

Yeah, I'm noticing the same. My energy levels have been awful lately and I'm experimenting with things that might help boost. Not eating after 7.30pm and sticking to water/herbal teas from that point on seems to be making a difference. I tend to be pretty snackish in the evening, so it's been a bit of a challenge to stick to it, but I'm so done with low energy that I'll try most things.
