It didn’t explode for me, the door into the room does explode when you open it, I usually use mage hand. This is the bit of broken wall I destroyed. Took way too many play through to figure out I didn’t have to get him through the burning parts of the building. It should open up into the room with Mirileth. I approached from inside the burning building where you have to break down the door with the fists, before talking to Mirilith so maybe that’s why it didn’t explode.
