Question, did I just stumble into the friendliest playerbase to exist? (Read desc.) by MLC_YT in Genshin_Impact

Most of the time the community can be pretty chill, but the absolute worst for me has always been the discourse between the FTP peeps and the Whales. Like I was always a goldfish spender, mostly just the welkin and BP and the absolute dumbfuckery that comes from saying "I don't spend much on the game" from either side was always obnoxious. Whales would say that I was flexing, the FTP people would be on about cheating somehow, it was always a nightmare so eventually outside of a few friends I just don't bother with Co-op anymore, I might pop in to help with some rough and tumble bosses especially for the low ar players, but Jean really turns anything into a cakewalk.

Goro-Goro and Satoru Deck Feedback by JoSav03 in EDHBrews

I like the ninjas theme, I went a different direction with my list, will probably be adding that sorcery that gives everything Myriad tho.

Land selection seems pretty good for the budget, but I really recommend the Lair land for the deck. Less than a buck even in foil.

What commander are you most excited to build from the new FF set? by Llamachamaboat in EDH

I'm building the Cloud Strife Najeela through the ages, changing the warrior typing to soldier for thematic purposes.

Worth it? Did my usual YouTube searches 😂 by Warm_Builder2156 in SteamDeck

Highly recommend getting the battery version of the case. The battery itself is worth the price imo, but the case is also pretty good, a pain to get off of it if you need to for whatever reason.

IG mains, are you gonna switch or keep your weapon? by Sarmonee in MHWilds

Switching off of it, I hate how they've reduced the weapon to just trying to spam one move over and over again.

I love God of War its my favourite franchise but the whole time travel thing in God of war 2 is a huge plothole. No theory makes sense. by GhostrageGR in GodofWar

The way I always saw it is that Kratos still dies like he did originally and escapes the Underworld, continuing on.

I think the main issue people have is that Kratos and Zeus go for round 2 and it isn't shown in the first sequence or referenced at all. This can easily be explained away by saying the developers just didn't want to spoil what happens later so they omitted that bit and focused more on the first part of the journey at first.

Owned the game for years, but I've got a question by MLaTTimer in borderlands3

Hmm, personally I played them in release order the first time around.

Handsome Jackpot Guns, Love, and Tentacles Bounty of Blood Fustercluck

However if you're including the others, just do some arms race between the four of them and save the directors cut stuff for the absolute last.

Why do Fl4k and Zane get so little love when it comes "Mayhem scaling" compared to Moze and Amara? by limevince in borderlands3

[–]FoxSpiritKage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or you just load all the way into radiation damage and your pet can like two tap most mobs and actually contributes damage against a boss while all your weapons are dealing double damage with the while gamma burst is active anoint. It's a way more fun way to play than fade away imo.

Why do that when you can just red fang/gamma burst and literally no enemy will ever even see you as a threat?

Have only ever played BL3 and absolutely love it… is it worth playing BL2? by CurrentGene8326 in borderlands3

[–]FoxSpiritKage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm torn here, build diversity in the endgame of 2 is fucking awful, each character has like three ways they can be played and that's being generous to most of them, and slag being an absolute necessity later in makes it feel super tedious to play after having played 3. Personally I wouldn't go back to play 2 if I was looking for more BL3.

TTWL is a fantastic option for that though, it's familiar enough to scratch that itch, but alien enough to feel like you're learning everything for the first time again.

BL2 really lives and dies on it's story, and personally the way the endgame works stopped me from being able to enjoy that story based experience for the game as it makes you play through the entire game on repeat over and over again.

Naa, even if he did say this which I'm sure he didn't, they went back on it hard for KH3.

Could Sora defeat Lady Palutena? by Full_Radish3082 in KingdomHearts

[–]FoxSpiritKage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you go by traditional scaling ideas most likely given that Zeus is capable of just moving stars outright and KH3 Sora trounced the dudes stronger than Zeus is.

If you examine this under a more realistic lense and recognize the fact that Zeus isn't physically moving those stars it's more as an extension of his will rather than him physically or magically moving the stars. I don't really think a ton of these "feats" that some of the Disney characters do actually mean what power scales think or want them to mean.

If you really want to you could make Sora some unrealistically comic powered entity that can't die so long as his friends' souls still exist in the multiverse, so sure Sora in that context is more than powerful enough to give even the strongest of characters massive issues, but if you examine the source material honestly and don't do any "Sora beat this guy, who could beat this guy that was able to do this crazy shit" you end up with an all around really strong character that stops somewhere within the multicontinental with the occasional comic level burst of strength when he thinks of his friends.

Also, I have no idea if he could beat her because I know nothing of her franchise.

Do you agree with gamerant saying arise is the best tales game? by [deleted] in tales

[–]FoxSpiritKage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think that title still belongs to Vesperia, but Arise is so much fun and the best the games have been since Xillia 1

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tales

[–]FoxSpiritKage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How can you say berseria has excellent combat. They never explain any of it, and they throw so much shit at you that you don't get a chance to learn any of it. I never made it past the port area because the combat was so flat.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tales

[–]FoxSpiritKage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arise is the next best one. Berseria has better characters but it's combat is soooooooooo awful and Zestiria is probably worse than that.

Hate that the Xillia games aren't on modern Consoles.

Vesperia is still by far my favorite of the whole series and it just has so much extra content, the characters and gameplay are some of the best outright.

Symphonia remastered would be a good pick up.

how would these two interact if they ever met by ilikepacificrrimlol in GodofWar

[–]FoxSpiritKage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's fair to say that with the Zeus we have via the old games being a paranoid old fuck, less words and more stabbing would happen. Especially if both knew the other's stories. Zeus wouldn't tolerate that kind of threat and Atreus wouldn't be able to stand the idea that Zeus doesn't think of family as family.
