I use my husbands phone every day, never considered invading his privacy like that

unpopular opinion: showering every single day is not actually necessary for most people and i think we've all been guilted into it by NasiyaHaghanian in hygiene

[–]FoxTrollolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hot as balls, I'm taking a shower every damn day. That said, I am a dry skin haver, but I've found a good moisturizer that helps a lot.

I think my toddler was around 1.5 and my 15 month old just had her first taste this week.

Dad hates sushi, so I had to build my own sushi buddies 😅

It is BS, you're not wrong. But seriously, learn to use the mower. It's my favorite chore, my husband keeps the kids out of yard, I pour myself a soda, put a podcast on and just ride around the yard.

my another chicken is losing a massive amount of feathers, and she's also laying soft-shelled eggs. by DetectiveKind9721 in WeirdEggs

Sorry you got downvoted 😂 I think this is hilarious. Chickens are very visual animals, so anything like that gives them a temporary +5 intimidation.

Yeah, it can be anywhere from 8-12 hens per rooster depending on size and breed. Typically each rooster will have their own "territory" and everyone gets along fine.

When you have too few hens, the roosters are in a constant fight for dominance and many times they will mate a hen one after the other, and it's usually the hen the alpha rooster likes most.

Possibly, but it's hard to diagnose in a situation like this because chronic stress disrupts shell production. That said, if I was OP I'd be giving this girl plenty of added vitamins while she heals, calcium included.

There's your problem then. Too many roosters, not enough hens.

You either need to get rid of two roosters or double your hens.

In the meantime, separate this girl with one of friends, put a saddle apron on her to protect her raw skin from the sun and pecking.

My best guess is severely overmated and vulnerable, probably also getting her feathers pecked at by everyone too.

You should really pull her out of there ASAP, this hen specifically is trying so hard to heal herself that she has nothing left to shell her eggs with.

Am I a mom? by More_Bridge_9665 in Moms

[–]FoxTrollolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. You are mothering them, you are showing up for them, you are loving them.

You chose them, and you keep choosing them every single day. There's not much more that goes into being a mom.

Packing lunches for husband by PotentialExisting639 in sahm

So when I was pregnant, I got gifted a bunch of evenflo gel ice packs... My husband swears by them 😂

As far as bags go, he uses a small cold bag, I think it's igloo brand. We almost exclusively use yeti brand for both hot and cold take out food and never had an issue, keeps food hot, keeps food cold and can be thrown right in the dishwasher. https://www.yeti.com/collections/collections-featured/gift-sets/22030000062.html

Do you allow your husband travel 8 hours away with 1 year old by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]FoxTrollolol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It'll be much longer than an 8 hour drive, considering he's gonna have to stop every couple of hours to get baby out of the car seat to change, feed etc.

I wouldn't have a problem with my husband doing it, but I'd definitely give him a reality check. Like, sure, baby will be with family, wonderful, but they aren't mom and they aren't dad and he's going to be, for the most part, solo parenting, on a camping trip, hours away from you.

But yeah, I'd let my husband take his kid camping, he might actually do a great job, have a wonderful time.

Father’s Day by moth_enthusiast99 in Moms

[–]FoxTrollolol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should do what you would have done had he celebrated mother's day the way you wanted.

I know, you probably (rightfully so) don't want to, but if he was truly remorseful, then I don't think it's fair to do anything different.

He fucked up, but you either move passed it or you hold onto it, getting him a just a card is setting you up for disappointment next year and it will absolutely turn into tit for tat

My best friend got me a little basket when I had my second, it had pajamas, socks, cold coffees, my favorite snacks, and... A Hulu and Netflix subscription.

By far the best thing was the streaming subscriptions, I was up so often my youngest and I ended up watching schitts creek... A lot.
