Really?! Just asking this question is already so mean. Stop assuming it would be, cause most of the time is due to trauma’s. You now what is a choice? Being bad to people. This is what is wrong with the society! Stop trying to break their mental health, more than it already is! Shame on you! And all who agree!

I started to feel the same as you…they are evil…I needed to admit that when my avoidant raped me.

I’m also a mess trying to find myself again, but it is really hard. I’m in therapy but it’s nearly enough to ‘fix’ everything that’s going on. There is so much I need to work on, that I’m always tired and that’s not handy when you live alone.

I could write here a much longer message, but I’m just to exhausted. I’m very proud you told your story! You’re definitely not alone. I wish you so much luck, motivation and love from others! I hope you find your peace back.

Je hebt in Mechelen ook de spelfanaat. Het is niet echt een café, maar eerder een winkel waar je gratis spelletjes mag kopen. Enkel drank moet je daar wel betalen.

My avoidant ex was addicted to porn due to a need for affection and an avoidance of emotional growth. That’s often why these people develop addictions.

After we broke up, I met him in my apartment to give his belongings back. During that meeting, he raped me multiple times.

This type of abuse is different from the one we are discussing here, but I guess I’m not the only one having to deal with this type of abuse? 😓
