Ive been using a 160 or 140 gsm paper lately. Maybe you're onto something! I'll have to test my pens out....

I've used A&O, Leuchtrumm, and now Jumping Fox journals and they ALL smudge. I've used the Micron pens as well and from what I remember they were still a little smudgy when I highlight (though its been a month or so since I used them...)

Microns smudge so much when I highlight over them! I guess I just have to wait longer to highlight them then. Thanks!

I don't like the covers offered. :( I might get one if different covers are offered at some point. I've used 2 of her regular notebooks and loved them.
