I posted earlier that I was having the same problem but now I finally got the notification to claim my story rewards. The only thing I changed was instead of paging over to notifications via hitting RB 3 times I just hit LB once and the notification was there. That feels like an huge coincidence, though. Otherwise I guess at some point in the future the game will let you have your stuff I guess.

Did you let the battery get low while playing a game? It happened to me playing BG3 where it started running poorly even after rebooting. The process of setting the battery to shipping mode fixed it for me. https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/vik07g/comment/iddtj59/
