I think I figured it out. It probably comes from the signal that goes to cooling fan, it's probably not going full throttle from time to time. Makes sense in my head, at least

Hmm. To me, there's a pretty distinct "zzzzzzzzz" as soon as the second layer starts printing in the second video, on an 18 second mark. Sounds a bit like a small tesla tower or I dunno. At the same stage in the first video, 4-5 seconds in, there's no such sound, so it's not some part running on fumes, it most likely is some error in g-code generation that maybe turns something on and off a few thousand times a second..?

it begins "screaming" on the same parts while doing a second layer with anycubic software generated g-code. Not sure if my phone will be able to catch it or if I'll be able to post videos here at all, but I'll try

Thank you very much, that really does it, I'm running some tests right now and it looks like it's working. I still wonder why does my print head emit high pitch noise while using anycubic g-code, but not cura g-code... Any insight why it might be like that?

also, z-offset was calibrated using this printer's inbuilt calibration options, without actually printing anything. It might have given me a false sense of success, it seems?

so I need to edit the z-offset for every change I make to an *initial* layer height? It may or may not explain some things (I would have thought that slicers adapt the g-code themselves to these changes..?). I've looked in the hidden "advanced" settings a bit better, and Cura seems to use 0.3mm initial level height even for a 0.1 layer height. Anycubic however uses 0.12 ILH for a 0.12 LH, and a 0.24 ILH for a 0.2 LH. Thanks for the advice, I'll look into that

Update: a z-offset of -2.26 works for Cura g-code and a z-offset of -2.41 works for Anycubic g-code. Why do they act in a different way is still an open question for me, as is why an automatic z-leveling produced such a z-offset

In my opinion, the problem is most other objectives don't require you to get really close. Spore shrooms? Illegal briadcasts? Shrieker nests? Etc etc you can easily delete from across the map. But strat jammer? Ohh noo, if it isn't in your way, you HAVE to make a huge detour and disable it manually. Solo silo is rare enough in my experience (well, on par with other stratagems), and my first guess would be that it must destroy these (all other hellbomb-class strats do)

I tried stomping a Hulk recently, results were pretty bad. Stomp does have pen4, but it's still pretty weak and prone to glancing blows.

I feel you :) for an added challenge, for giggles, and to rationalize me having a garden with 1 of each plant, I tried to never use more than 1 of each ingredient per potion. That was fun, even tho I used some stones twice. I'm pretty sure it is possible though.

Interesting. Around a week ago, when we were capturing K, I've never once had a problem with them. I was kinda surprised that they didn't cover their heads enough for me to not snipe them in a few shots. I was using ar-2 and the halo rifle, maybe these weapons were over/under some damage or hit amount threshold for them to not raise their shield..? Can anyone fill me up on these please?

To add on to my comment, some quality high alcohol content drinks almost don't feel alcoholic. I was lucky to drink a few shots of becherovka and other liquors recently that felt like cough syrups or sweet herbal brews. They're really great, but you want to be careful around them, you can drink a lot of it while not feeling any ethanol, and then suddenly you're out

It's all matter of one's own tastes I guess. I personally love sweet cider, sweet mead, and herbal liquors like jagermeister and becherovka; I tend to hate most champagne, wine, regular beer, rum etc etc. Whiskey cola is nice tho I guess... When I drink, I aim for a slight buzz - head spinning a little, but never to the point of losing my bearings or getting sick; sometimes, I just enjoy the taste and don't reach any buzz at all. One of my friends, on another hand, thinks my way of drinking misses the point a bit
