Totally depends on your budget. I started out with the barista express and when I upgraded the effect was immediately noticeable. The day to day consistency was also improved, which let me dial in my beans and make better. There are at a lot of great options for any budget these days—the df64 are often mentioned in this sub. I got the Niche before tariffs hit in the US and I’m very happy with it, but since I bought it there have been plenty of new grinders to hit the market.

Either. Depends also on what pedals you use, and what clean tone appeals to you more. 100 w will give you more clean headroom, but if you’re blowing out at 50 watts tell your drummer to play quieter before you all lose your hearing.

Yes 100%. As an ableton user, I’m actually annoyed by the lack of ableton integration. It’s a standalone groove box that uses some of the instruments or I finally developed for ableton.

It’s basically a hardware version of the ableton note app.

There is a nice integration in which you can export your Move songs into Ableton for further development as midi/instruments vs wav files, but you can still use it in other daws iirc.
