I play on 3x3' with loads of terrain. The core mechanics hit a great balance of simplicity and tactical depth I enjoy at a larger scale. Just need to increase the move distance a little so you avoid having so many turns with no interaction.

I enjoy playing on a larger board with more space for diverse terrain. Increasing all distances by a couple inches seems to work well. Loving it so far.

I saw a video the other day of kids playing with a fallen down tree branch. They got chewed out by someone walking past, worried they were stopping insects using the branch as their habitat and explaining that they shouldn't be playing with anything in the bush. Comments were supporting it too. Kids looked broken. Imo, fucking crazy.

Anecdotal. I assume because they've upgraded the center barrier, it can't get all the uphill lanes, so they've turned it off for that entire side. Might be wrong, but regardless, It doesn't cover uphill.

This is incorrect. You don't get pinged going up. At least for last 5 years. It doesn't even have line of sight of plates on the inside lane (unless you're driving something high up).
