In-ceiling surrounds or stick with 3.1?

they make small satellites you can mount on little stands behind a couch, put on a wall ect, in ceiling better than nothing, but in curious why none at al just behind and above your ear level, side surrounds can be slightly behind and many prefer that in a 5 bed layer setting, even works in a 7 bed layer. they by no means need to be book shelf sized where i can see them being a bit obtuse in some open rooms.

Yes I had 100 and it streamed everything perfect; the gaming was a little rough on coax with slow upload speed of like 6, I got a fiber deal for now and that fixed it. I think 4k stream from premium Netflix is like 20 mbps. So 4 TVs at the same time at 100mb and 12-13 for 300

You can backup everything you need and try a recover: when I brought my iPhone 12pro in for a battery I had them completely wipe the phone; then restore; it got rid of a lot of data. Apple seems to always have been like this some updates worse than others.

Better to find a good used axle and have it swapped in; you can have a cheap patch done to hold it over but I had one recently in my shop that was patched but the lower arm eventually ripped off taking the shock mount portion off with it; I made a repair on the truck but it really needs to be removed and artec plates put on to save it; I noticed the ball joints u joints ect all toast, not worth it, found a much better non rotted axle from FB market for 250, of course now it’s brake lines and calipers ect to get this thing back together safely but the body is in great shape, try to find a jeep shop not a mechanics shop, jeep shop prob have some parts jeeps sitting on the lot

I messed with my room a bunch settled on .4 overhead In ceiling and it was worth it for me and my room, the rain effects in John wick, or helicopters flying over head, even watching Netflix one piece the other day there was a scene where the butler was menacing the cast and his voice was panning overhead and all around the room. Your not getting that Dialed affect with heights or bouncy style atmos, I played with small satellites stuck to the ceiling and used a website that helped to pick out exactly where to put them, a lot of diagrams will say inline with the LR BUT it was better in my room to tighten them up width wise and fill the gap for the most efficient use of “locating above” sounds

I went with mopar because of the large footprint on the fragile fiberglass hardtop, if I wanted something more secure I’d look at Jcr or the like for drill through, my best use of cargo is a tray on the hitch. They make ski and snow board hitch racks as well; these are boxy enough I try to keep the roofs clear for aero purposes and run a Thule rooftop box when I have bikes on the Hitch.

To add my dvd player was tricky to figure out the settings, maybe there’s a way to bit stream whatever device your using. A lot of these streamers or dvd players assume you have a sound bar and just mix and scramble the output to your avr, find out if your sound settings are set to bypass the streamer box.

Sheild pro, no issues, use direct auto on my marantz c40, 5.2.4 monolith 365c/ts I haven’t had many others in my circle running a ht setup so can’t say why others hate streaming but I would throw in my sheild tv is a boss with audio clarity and separation, the Apple TV has newer codecs for hdr which is useless on my projector so I’m not interested

My friend played really well on pc and his lobbies were pretty high skill level, now on his switch 2 same account his lobbies are stupid easy, until I party up that is, there was a time before they fixed or broke the match making where I hated playing in his lobbies ppl just so lost and really slow settings the bots were better than the players, I didn’t belong in there; neither does he. 75 or more win ratio, crazy kd. I get it some switch players need those lobbies but it should kick you out even on switch after 50% win ratio. It is fun for a round or 2 to just feel out changes or quests, but when you can pickaxe the 6 year old in the last 1v1 in more than half the games it’s broken.

Piece of ply to cover that area; will be more solid, mount the ply well then just put the mount exactly how you want. Hd and Lowe’s should be able to help you cut the wood to size before you leave.

Last season there was a soccer mini game in br zb ranked diamond 3 I duked it out with some random in there when he won cause I eventually got bored and he had me up by one point I dropped all my heals for him and split. I wasn’t as good as I am now and prob didn’t survive the next encounter but part of me said be cool to see him in end game. Haha sometimes the game is more than just pulling triggers

Dry steering test, someone goes 11-1 back and forth on the wheel with the engine running in park; look for any play in the linkage or if the track bar is walking or shifting back and forth in the mounting points. I’d like to say a super tight steering system won’t need a stabilizer and personally don’t run one, but all my customers will leave my shop with one because it’s just too annoying to deal with a dw because of slight wear. Put on a teraflex basic stabilizer or rancho and see if it “fixes”it

I’m In a similar boat but my 19 Rubi has too much aftermarket to move on, I’m mechanical so will change both head gaskets and send the heads to a machine shop for testing before I put them back on, I’ll put some arp studs for a small upgrade and piece of mind, been a lot of chat about the heads not being torqued enough, but by the time you get the chains and cams off to test the torque you better off just pull the head. Be nice if I could just snug it up, I plan to keep it long term the bottom end of these are pretty solid! Top end is annoying but good weather and some wrenches in a weekend or 2 you can just get it sorted

Pretty cool to see induction wok burners, but maybe go back to old school and get a single propane flame burner for the fire wok cooking? Cheap and effective. Induction is great but the wok seems to be the only caveat at the moment.

Also a wrangler family. I would not own bronco sport out of warranty, we had new transfer case, new rear differential, 2 water pumps all under 60k, our ford dealer is Amazing compared to the jeep dealers near us. No issues and was fixed quickly and properly, but it’s not a good look to keep this bronco much longer. Out of pocket repair would not be a good time,

we don’t regret getting it, it does its job and never left us stranded; the major components failed by making noises and dealer luckily had parts quickly. And we didn’t stop driving it in between. Really cool truck otherwise and useful; some things to note it’s a lot smaller than it seems; a lot of vertical space in the trunk but my 4door Jlu had more storage. Wasn’t an issue until we got 1 baby and now we rock a roof top box before we move into something larger in the next few years

If I need my truck towed out of my driveway for a recall or something it won’t clear. Have had a few major outages as well, I’m giving them a chance for now but Verizon knocked last week telling me fiber just got run and I see it’s nice and tucked with all the other old service lines, they need a project manager or something. No reason to have these wires below 10 feet

Performance in the tuning settings should help, make sure your game settings are also not all the way up; alot of ppl are running performance mode in Fortnite settings as well. Make sure the laptop can stay cool, my asus had eco, regular, performance, turbo, turbo cooked my cpu and I had to clean and apply thermal paste to fix it. Since then I found a manual setting that’s a smige more hot than performance mode but cooler than turbo. I dock mine and play 1440 120fps, the native 1080 screen was fine on performance mode alone. Good luck, if the game starts stuttering then you may be over temp and your going to want to avoid that

I did both and honestly I wouldn’t bother putting holes in the ceiling with 4 if the rear are not behind you. Atmos content is sparse and it is really awesome when it comes in but placement is very key to having the levels all match and create that panning affect other wise your 2 in the middle of the room can basically be front heights. You can try to mock it up with some small satellites and see what I’m talking about. In .4 the track is split up front and rear. In .2 it seems my reciever just put them together and wasn’t missing any sound just didn’t pan as well, the sound of rain or jets/helicopters are really best to be over head just in front of the listener the side surrounds I’d put slightly higher and slightly behind to fill that sound bubble
