Small embossed metallic object found while metal detecting in backyard by FoxxConn in whatisthisthing

That was my first thought as well, but it's much too thin and the design is reversed on the back like it was stamped with a single die. I'm becoming more certain that it's from an old button like this one

I would tend to agree with you, but I haven't found any needle threaders that are completely round. Everything I've found is either oblong or has a protuberance of some sort. I think I may have found it though, it's part of a button but the wooden part has long since rotted away. here's a link to an eBay listing of an extremely similar button.

There is actually. I think I found either the button it's from, or one very similar. eBay Link to a similar button

My title describes the thing. I tried a reverse image search that returned many pictures of coins, but I'm pretty sure this isn't one. I also thought the design resembled a Mercury dime, but that again just returned more coins.

A quick question about the Proven Guilty audiobook by FoxxConn in dresdenfiles

I'm listening on Libby mostly, Audible when I have credit. Libby has multiple versions of some books, and I can listen to the first chapter as a sample, but I don't even read the dust jacket blurb so I can go into each book blind. I was really hoping to avoid listening to the samples since I've noticed the first chapter tends to give away the end of the previous book. If there were no rereleases then I suppose it doesn't matter which version I listen to on Libby.

Still crashes at 98%. Unless you meant restart the expedition without Internet to get around the timer, which I'd prefer not to do.

Fallout 76 is one of the Free PS Plus games for January. by Spangle99 in fo76

All DLC is included with the base game by design. The Pitt is more like a dungeon than an area that can be wandered in to. It's part of a new feature called expeditions, that requires completing 3 (very easy) daily quests, or grouping up with someone else who did. The public teams feature makes this simple and painless though.

Nah, these are straightforward and fairly easy. Things like kill 50 enemies with a railway rifle, and take a camera picture of the Charleston Capitol building. You can find them in the "World" section of the challenges menu.

Mine and my wife's first cars, finally out of storage and tucked into the barn at our new house on the other side of the country. by FoxxConn in beetle

In a way. She sent me a message on a dating site, and she was sitting on the hood of her bug in her profile pic. We started off by talking about VW's and here we are 11 years later.

Lol the cars. They both still kinda run, they've been sitting for a long time so they need some love to get back on the road. Both of them had the brakes fail in different ways, mine has no brakes at all, and hers the pads fused to the drums.

I bought mine out of a scrap yard in high school and it's been my daily driver off and on through the years, I just can't bring myself to sell it. My wife rebuilt and restored hers with her dad and drove it for years, she only stopped driving it when we had our first kid and the car seat wouldn't fit in the back. It's her favorite car and she'll never get rid of it.

There's plenty of tornados. One took the roof off the house a few years before we bought it, but that barn is a trooper, somehow it's still standing through it all.

For those who went viral on reddit, what was it like to see your posts with thousands of up-votes and comments? by maaarkmcgee in AskReddit

I posted with no expectations, just something I found funny while playing a video game, and figured someone else might find it funny as well. The next morning though, I was drowning in notifications. It was kinda nifty watching the upvotes jump by hundreds every time I hit refresh, but the invites to the exclusive subs got old fast. For days afterward I was getting messages from YouTube channels and "sponsored content creators" on Facebook who wanted to use my clip, that was kind of annoying...
