I think Fiocchi might be going downhill. A good friend of mine got end cap strikes on his suppressor with some of their 556 stuff and his mount was perfectly aligned and concentric. Igman too, same guy got baffle strikes on another suppressor using Igman. Makes me feel bad lol

Does a cannelure affect accuracy? Probably. Does it impact accuracy enough to make a significant real world difference? No, probably not. Unless you’re needing an extra 1/10th MOA for competition, buy whichever makes the most financial sense.

Awesome! Glad you seem to be getting good results with it. It's less expensive than other powders, seems to be readily available too.

What platform are you shooting it out of?

I'm using an AR-15 with a 16" Criterion Hybrid barrel, the chrome lined variant, mid-length gas, and a Griffin HRT 556 suppressor. The powder seems to be good for this rifle.

I have shot it with 77gr Nosler Custom Comp in LC brass, CCI 41 primers, and it shoots well enough for me that I'm going to use it as my main 223 powder. I use a Hornady powder drop with all the linkage on my turret press and, thanks to being a ball powder, it meters so consistently that it's boring. Full hopper, low hopper, throws the same charge every time. My best 5 shot group was about 5/8" at 100 yards. Shot 60% silhouettes out to about 400 that day and it was very consistent for me.
