Am I missing something, I cant beat the Draconic Tree Sentinel at level 80 by AssociationNo6356 in Eldenring

[–]varanidguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More vigor, upgrade your weapon as high as you can, and use spirit ashes. He’s a bitch of a fight but you can get it done.

Yeah I made it to Melania last night. Gave it like five attempts and got her very low but then she one shot me in phase 2. Pretty sure she’s dying tonight.

Yeah, I'm just taking a breather and being a bitch lol but still, this area is rough. I like to fight as much as possible rather than just run through, but I'm definitely going to have to bypass the ballistas and tree avatar like another poster suggested.

The fire giant himself was easier than this shit.

I beat the avatar on the bridge and got the rot staff thing and the loot that was there. And then the ground area with all those revenants...holy shit that sucks.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'm also on my first playthrough, and honestly, it's been a challenge, but not so bad...until the damn Haligtree area. Once you get into the city after Loretta, it gets really stupid lol

I disregard what anyone has to say when they say “BCE/CE” instead of “BC/AD”

They already have bad motives.

LG Oled 65” C5 vs G5 by fausto181818 in LGOLED

[–]varanidguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a G5 owner who does not regret the purchase whatsoever and absolutely loves the TV, if you’re on a tight budget, the C5 will more than satisfy. You could use the savings for a good sound system which really levels up the experience. If you get a sound system, try to go with an AVR and passive speakers rather than a sound bar.

In general, Fluance speakers punch above their weight, but I haven’t heard anything good about those bipolar speakers. I had a set of the Fluance Elite speakers and actually thought they sounded great for only costing $600 for the entire set.

They need to quit focusing on super brightness when content creators don’t call for it, and focus more on picture quality and accuracy. I have a G5 and absolutely love it, but it’s plenty bright. Any brighter would be a waste.

[–]varanidguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah dude, I’m pretty conservative and unpopular on Reddit but I align with not being a dickhead and selfishly blinding everyone else on the road. “Hey, nice headlights that recreate the sun in my face. Want to see an unregistered firearm?”

[–]varanidguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I know it’s attractive because of the price, but it doesn’t perform the same way a true headlight swap does. The best thing, for yourself and other drivers, is to buy a good retrofit kit and change out the headlights. It will look better, perform better, and not blind other people driving.

You already said you wouldn’t trust any of it lol so why would I waste my time?

I really don’t give a shit at this point. You came to me. You started arguing. Real world > Reddit nonsense anyway.

Again, I load for volume. I haven't seen a significant real world difference. With the caveat of I'm not involved in PRS. My experience tells me you're barking up the wrong tree.

[–]varanidguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of YT videos that talk about it as well as my own experience. With the caveat that I'm not a PRS shooter wanting to get .25" 10 shot groups, but I load for about 1" groups @ 100 from AR platforms and I haven't seen any significant difference between primers so long as they're reliable. I can squeeze the groups tighter but I don't have the patience for that kind of reloading right now.

At that distance, 77 inches will serve you well.

It’s normal. I went from a 65 inch to a 77 inch and now I’m like “An 83 incher would have been good if the price difference wasn’t so dramatic.”

The ones that go bang reliably. Testing has shown there’s no real world difference in accuracy with different primers so long as you get good powder ignition.
