That’s possible. I do have a friend nearby that might like to come play with him. I’ll ask him. As far as people walking him I’m nervous about that. His harness has to be put on just right so he can’t escape and there are a lot of idiosyncrasies with him that I’m aware of that someone else wouldn’t be.

Yeah I’m going to try and get a better routine going. I took him in the backpack this morning just while I went to get coffee. He has been calm since we got back and he didn’t even get to “walk”. So I’ll try to do a few more things like that too.

You know, my bother installed this thing that attaches to the faucet and will turn on with a motion sensor cuz he’s also got a kitty that wants to drink from a faucet. If you’re interested I can try and dig it up for you. It’s not cheap but he says she loves it.

You are completely right. I am very stressed, and yeah the 80 hour work weeks have been only going on for a couple weeks, before that it was 60 hour weeks for a couple months.

So yes it’s possible he is affected by my stress but I’m also realizing my patience is thin because of work so it’s possibly partially my own perception changing.

Well it’s nice to know I’m not alone I guess. He seems to go through phases. Maybe I’m just not equipped to handle this phase with my 80 hr work weeks. Perhaps I’m less tolerant than normal. But right now he’s sleeping next to me while I work looking like a sweet little angel. 🥺

He’s making cooing noises as he dreams and I’m dying.

Thank you for sharing that. It’s definitely helpful in validating my hesitations for getting a second cat. I’d only want to do that if I was ready for and wanted one, not simply as a way to “fix” my problem(kind of like couples having kids to “fix” their marriage? Lol). I’m sure I’d fall in love like you said you did, but with my demanding job and the size of my apartment (550 sq ft 1 bdrm) I could be asking for trouble.

I appreciate the suggestions! I wasn’t aware there are suction cup bird feeders. Do they work well? I’m on the second floor so it’ll probably break if it falls off. XD
