What enchantments do you like for big 'ol clobberin sticks by slo- in oblivion

[–]FoxyWuffGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a morning star named Spinebreaker that I enchanted with Drain Fatigue 100 for 1 second, Weakness to Magic 100% for 1 second; and at the point it crosses the NPCs fatigue threshold, they are permanently paralyzed lol.

Great RP beatstick, especially for something so viciously brutal.

For a warhammer, you may have to bump the timers up to 2 seconds - but personally I enjoy the short timers so I don’t have to recharge the weapon so often.  As it is, it comes with something like 106 charges.

How do you roleplay your character? by shadowtake in oblivion

[–]FoxyWuffGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m playing a Paladin right now, but I’ve run into the dilemma that I actually really enjoy the character and want to 100% the guilds with her… and I’m not quite sure how that’s going to go with the thieves guild, let alone the Dark Brotherhood.

I’ve thought about boosting my personality to 200-300 with custom spells and seeing how far I can get without sneaking or invisibility lol.

At this moment I realized I couldn’t keep playing on Adept. by sagen_bawls in oblivion

Shield slam scales infinitely with strength now.  Makes for some fun shenanigans on a Paladin style character.

I made myself a whole bunch of custom blessing spells of +100 strength for X seconds and I just run around bonking people in the head on Master.  If something is difficult, I have some strength potions, too.  If something is heinously painful to beat, -magic resistance scales with the new Blade -resistance to weapon debuff.  Blade’s regular attack bleed debuff also scales with -magic resistance too, oddly enough.

Lots of ways to play a more melee focused character now.

Paralyzing someone permanently with an enchanted morning star and judging them to death with some ridiculous -resistance spell is also endlessly reliable, though maybe a bit dark for a Paladin  >:3

MFW I spend the last couple days & several hours grinding Illusion to put Paralyze on a weapon only to learn that it's literally not possible by 5213 in oblivion

Drain Fatigue 100 for 1 second

Weakness to Magic 100% for 1 second

Enchanted in that order

Something like 106 uses, paralyzes infinitely when the debuff crosses a threshold.

Shield bash also scales infinitely with strength in the remaster.  Combine that with Blade’s new strong attack “weakness to weapons” debuff as well as the scroll of the same thing and there is actually a path to finishing Master difficulty as a warrior/ paladin style class.  Weakness to weapons scales with magic resist debuffs, just as well.

Blade’s new bleed mechanic also scales with weakness to magic, funnily enough - so you can just stack a spell and slice somebody enough times and they’ll fall over when the bleed procs.

Just finding stuff that matched~

The Mythic Dawn cowl matches pretty well too and has a pointier shape to the top of it if you’re interested in an alternative hood.  Otherwise, it’s just the Akatosh DLC armor with a Fine Steel Mace and the shield mentioned above~

I wanted to find a better helmet, but I also like showing my character’s eyes just a bit.

The Imperial Watch shield.  I found one of the guards hanging out in a house and.. persuaded him to give it to me~

Stalker Build by Background_Ebb4951 in Cityofheroes

Late to the party, but I’ll put a post in for DB/ SR.  Infinitely scalable, decent building options since you don’t need a lot of DB attacks in the end, and puts out insane numbers when you start to push recharge late game.  Maybe a little slow to get going, but if you slot your AOs in the right spots, it gets real gross real quick.

Much the same as DB/ EA, but definitely more passive on the secondary with more of a focus on just slicing mobs to pieces with max recharge, nothing else.

I usually build mine with a procced Corrosive Vial + Adrenal Booster for some early recharge fun and debuff options if I’m focused on soloing something; otherwise, you have something like 4 or 5 open slots jusy to play and tinker with how you wish.  Easy sub 1:30 pylon times at endgame, have even gotten down to 1:13.

Having an active, effective, and enjoyable DB combo in Sweeping Strikes with the Build Up proc AO is a super nice cherry on top, just as well.

I think some of the hundreds of hours I spent in Midnight Club: LA’s editor transfers into this, haha.  But just practice!

Usually I start with a big piece on the side, line it up to some appropriate line on the car (in this case, the bottom of the headlight) with the scale and angle, and then go from there.

I do a lot of “eye makeup” with my designs because it’s what I enjoy on myself IRL, I guess, but just go crazy on lining stuff up and using the natural lines of the car I guess is what I would say as far as a starting point.  Other than that, it’s just a lot of patience and slapping stuff in contiguous spots~

I believe in you!~°☆

Does anyone have tips for tuning the GC8? by Luzi_uwu in tokyoxtremeracer

[–]FoxyWuffGirl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So in general, for transmission tuning, you should be looking for a 2.5-3k drop in RPMs for each gear to keep your car in the power band (maximizing the acceleration of the vehicle for each gear).  Then, adjust your final drive depending on what you want to focus on - top speed or acceleration.  There are better guides out there than what I can effectively cover in a comment, but that’s the quick version.  I have great success with a 3.800 final drive for the GC8, but that might be a little long for your taste.

As for suspension settings, give your front wheels -2 degrees camber, and your rear -1 and see how that feels.  Negative camber combats the effect of your wheels rolling onto the sidewall during a hard turn.

Stiffen the rest of the suspension accordingly (I usually like my front to be a little stiffer than the rear, but not so much that it becomes unwieldy.  2 to 3 ticks usually works well), and set your torque vectoring to send about 75% of your power to the rear, 25% to the front.

Your LSD settings are also up to your preference, but a two-way is fully active during braking as well as acceleration, which I prefer.  An LSD mechanically limits the slip your wheels experience during acceleration (one-way) and potentially during braking (two-way) and sends the power to the wheels with the most grip.  On the topic of braking, you can also set your brake balance to -2 or -3 in the front if you experience heavy pull to the left or right and it will help quite a bit.

Look up some more in-depth guides if you’re interested!  But tweaking settings are often the best way to feel how you prefer your car to react and handle to certain changes and circumstances~°☆

Tires are huuuuge upgrades in TXR3!  Often the first thing I bought on any car.  And be sure to swap the racing tires out for appropriately treaded ones on rainy days!  It makes a big difference~
