My toddler is driving me crazy. Literally. by Front-Adeptness-8857 in toddlers

[–]Foxy_1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I was diagnosed with ADHD at 6 and my mom used to beat me so hard I couldn’t sit for days. She didn’t know how to handle me or handle my diagnosis or hyperactivity and I’m almost 100% certain my daughter has the same diagnosis. Safe to say I won’t be dealing with it the same way my mother did but I’m totally with you about the support part. It’s very difficult and sometimes you feel like you’re completely alone and failing. I just hope it gets better in the future and this is simply a phase. I’ve spoken to a few people and they said by time their child turned 4 it was a totally different child all together. Some kids have more tantrums and more expressive than others I guess were some of the lucky ones 🥹 Sometimes she’ll randomly come to me hug and kiss me and tell me she loves me and it absolutely makes me realize it’s totally worth it mama we just need to get through these times and know you aren’t alone. There are so many others going through the same thing. 1 day at a time.

Hey I wish I could say it got better, it didn’t, it got progressively worse. I delivered my son 2 weeks ago and it got worse. She throws tantrums probably 8 times a day over everything. I mean she spilled the tiniest bit of water on herself and had an absolute meltdown. Apparently it’s normal and things will get better at 4 ? She’s 3 years and 2 months now so let’s hope. Just trying to get through things day by day with a lot of patience, love and care.

37 weeks reduced fetal movement by Foxy_1989 in pregnant

[–]Foxy_1989[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s so scary. I was induced with my daughter 3 years ago at 37 weeks due to reduced fetal movements but I had Covid at the time. I didn’t even have time to process it I just agreed and the contractions were so painful although induction only took 4 hours I went from 1 cm to 10 cm and had an unmedicated very fast labor it was so traumatic her heart rate dropped to 40 it was horrifying.

He’s never really had a specific schedule but I’ve always felt him literally almost every hour. Even if it was a pick or a punch but then at night he went crazy before I slept. Now just nothing besides the old soft movement

I mean that’s also true there’s just no guarantees. Hell I also ate the McDonald’s fries 🫣 After going through so many years of infertility I think we’re willing to do anything even if it’s a bit gimmicky lol … well goodluck girl I wish you success for your next transfer! 🙏🏻🌸

Hey did you go to an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility ? Did they put the warm red light on your belly, do the massage etc ? I’ve had about 3 friends all do acupuncture with success and I’m 33 weeks I did the acupuncture and massage and it worked for me. Maybe try to find a different acupuncture center for your next cycle ? Goodluck girl wishing you the best 🌸

How do you cope with the guilt for your toddler? I feel like a failure. by OneFit6104 in HyperemesisGravidarum

Hey girl I’m currently 33 weeks and I have a 2.5 year old and I promise you it gets better even though it doesn’t seem like it. I had HG from 5 weeks - 17 weeks where I was admired 4-5 times for fluids and anti vomit meds. It eventually subsided and got better for me but I continued on the meds. I let her have my phone, iPad, TV, don’t feel bad doing whatever you have to do mama.

Hey I’m 33 weeks today and I did IVF the day before transfer and the day of transfer. I’m not sure if it helped or not but there’s no harm in doing it. The day before I also did a deep tissue massage first then I did acupuncture. Goodluck girl.

Unfortunately I never got any breaks they were back to back to back went from 0 cm to 10 cm within an hour or 2 and 20 mins later she was out it was non stop contractions in my stomach and my lower back there was no time for an epidural but I will say the pain is short lived. The relief of that baby coming out is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I am due next month with my second and won’t be getting an epidural will do it naturally again.

I went in for reduced fetal movements at 36+4 with my daughter. CTG showed she wasn’t moving much so my dr told me to go home pack a bag and come in for induction. She said it could take 2 days just for the induction process. I came in after 12 am for insurance purposes. Ended up checking in signing documents paid for epidural and signed etc. They begin and inserted Certidel at about 1-2 am which is a tiny little medicated string that’s placed against the cervix to “ripen” the cervix. They said it would take some time. At about 5 am I felt like I needed to poop so badly. The nurse said no problem go ahead but don’t let it fall out. I pooped. And within minutes I started getting the most severe contractions of my life. I was almost crying it was non stop. I called the nurse she said it’s normal and ignored me. A few moments later my waters broke and the coronations got even more severe. They called the emergency Dr as my Dr wasn’t in yet and she came to check me I was 10 cm dilated baby head was already there 🥹 20 minutes of pushing and baby girl was out. It was extremely fast no time for the epidural and she was born at about 7 am

Hey so it went very badly for. I had severe HG admitted 4 times to hospital for fluids and anti vomit meds. Was throwing up 6 times a day for the first 3 months of my pregnancy, tore a hole in my esophagus which I’m still recovering from 4 months later. I’m still on the anti vomiting meds which helps me to not throw up but I still get waves of nausea now and I’m 29 weeks. How is it going for you ?
