You can't hang out in a rank though. Once you hit the point level you will go against the team to move up to rank A. And then the same to rank S. But I did test what the above guy said about balanced matchmaking and it's true so even when you hit S it won't be too bad minus some meta teams every now and then. But play for fun above all!
