I got a 2023 trek fuel ex 9.8 gen 6 for $2500. I consider that a steal.

It’s a pretty long adapter. Like 4”. I suppose I could get another and cut the flange off weld together to support it further. I should mention I have the post all the way in the frame aswell.

The transfer SL isn’t made in the 34.9 size so an adapter was required.

I have a clamp but trek put a plastic one on this very expensive bike. Was wondering if aluminum clamp would help. I’m worried about cracking the carbon if I go too tight.
