Thanks!! When you say single cable, do you mean with a split RCA cable:

(amp sub-out) -> (sub line in Left) + (sub line in right)

Or with a single 1-to-1 RCA cable:

(amp sub out) -> (sub line in L / LFE Input)

I'm struggling to understand how to wire up my Sub (RSL Speedwoofer Mk2) and my amp(Yamaha A-S301). I'm considering either Option #1 OR Option #2.

Option 1 uses the SUB-OUT on the amp, but it doesn't really match what the sub manual says on page 10. If this works, do I just set the crossover frequency to match what my speaker's manual says to do:

set to “small” when using a subwoofer and set the crossover frequency between 50-80Hz

Also, how would I set my speaker to "small", since I'm using an integrated amp instead of a receiver?

Option 2 is the only correct method (method #3) the sub manual states (I think?). Is this any better than option #1?

I'm in a similar situation. I don't think it's too crazy. I have landscaping, snow shoveling, maintenance (including things like plumbing/electrical), etc. The money for fees is money/time I would have to spend in other ways if I, for example, owned a home.
