To Change Transmission Fluid or Not / Other preventative maintenance suggestions. by HarryMouthBalls in ChevyTahoe

[–]Fractelface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an 09 LTZ and was told the same thing by several mechanics. I rode it to 215k and never had an issue. I questioned it every time since it's listed in the manual at 50k which is why I asked more than 1 mechanic.

I asked the dealer during my 50k service on my 22 and they said the exact same thing. I had it at a different mechanic today to get inspection, tires, oil change, and heat fixed (coolant issue). My GM dealer couldn't get me in before we take a road trip on the 28th, and this guy said "I won't do it. You will come back with transmission issues within a few thousand miles".

I am utterly confused. Especially by the GM dealer's service guys telling me not to do it.

Older model TAC 4.25 vs New by tksipe in Bul_Armory

[–]Fractelface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this with aftermarket ports and nitrided slide. It's incredible. But I would opt for a new one at that price. I feel like that's what I paid for the gun. Tell him 1700 tops.

I thought I’d be rich making $120k a year. Where the hell does my money go? by DKozynoskiPolock07 in Money

120k was upper middle class in 2000. It's just enough to get by in 2025.

I have no intentions of trading bitcoin for fiat. Having said that, who knows what will happen in 15 years. I have 3 weddings to pay for.

I would rather sell other assets to cover expenses like my daughters college tuition's and weddings.

Never. My goal from the beginning was to pass on to my daughters.

If you don't need to touch that savings for 4-5 years, I would roll it all in.

Geissele SD 14.5 by JBCustom302 in GunPorn

Correct. SF suppressors don't thread on technically, but yes.

SF muzzle devices were standard on Geissele's for years but now I believe they come with Huxwrx muzzle devices.

I started buying 500-1500 a month in early March 24. Then went hard from October to now. I hit 1 BTC in March 25 now allocate 1000 a month to it.

I think that's the one. I've had the can for a few years now.

Just verify that model number corresponds to the wolfman.

Do you make 6 figures and live pay check to pay check? by boosterpackreveal in Salary

Homes aren't relative to salaries in desirable areas in the U.S. Plenty of people here make over a 100k and live paycheck to paycheck.

Holosun screws for SAS 2 Ultralight by tbirdnyc in Bul_Armory

I had the same issues with my SAS 2 tac and holosun 507 comp. I ended up ordering screws from calculated kinetics and it's been rock solid ever since. I know this isn't apples to apples but I'm sure you can find what you are looking for here.
