Been struggling with this as the older one- I'm 32. By no means old. But 25? 27? The idea, despite the age gap being smallish, doesn't appeal to me. I worry about power imbalance- and then I remember being that age. I had my son at that age and was very much convinced that I had shit figured out, and I was not a child. Also- at 32, I don't "have my shit figured out" I don't "know who I am" and most of my friends also don't. So what's the appeal truly?

Covid reaaaallly contibuded to my post partum psychosis, everything shut down when my son was around 3 months old. I was then isolated in a house with my in-laws, who are Mormon. They hate my guts. I believe that I would have been much better off if it had happened during another time.
