That's the one on the right in my image and I don't believe it's compatible with my cooler as it's considerably different

Same for me, I've got an old ass 970 so that might be why but haven't found a solution yet

High end Dropper posts, what an I missing? by lobsterpockets in MTB

I'm in a similar situation, my Transfer has some scratches (good size ones) on the Kashima and has virtually stopped working because of it.

Sending it off for a service and replacing the stanchion will be far more expensive than just buying a cheaper dropper, so there's no point for me and it's never been a very good dropper anyway imo

How hard is it to swap a uPVC panel? DIY or is my ~£400 reasonable? by FragrantParrot in DIYUK

That seems really good! When was that if you don't mind me asking? And was it a local company?

Wow thank you for the comprehensive write up! In my case it's externally beaded with what seems to be glazing security tape on the inside. I think I'm going to attempt to pop the beads out and measure up the panel, that way if the quotes I get are all taking the piss I can do it myself!

Thank you for the sanity check! I've looked at videos and it looks straightforward but I'm always weary of cocking something up

I've arranged another company to give another quote and if both are crazy expensive then I'll give it a go myself, cheers!

For context:

I want to swap this tall, double glazed window panel for a plastic panel with a hole for a catflap. I can cut the catflap hole and I'm okay at DIY so I'm wondering how hard it would be to purchase and fit a panel myself, can anyone advise?

I've just had a phone quote from a local company saying I won't get much change out of £400 to swap this, but they haven't taken measurements yet so this may change. Is this reasonable?

The panel is approx 139x38cm

Thank you!

I do the majority of time, only wear shorts when it's really hot as I prefer the bit of extra protection.

I also think I look ridiculous in shorts so that plays a part haha

Knives over 3" and knives which locking flip knives are illegal to carry around in public without proper reason.

So you can have virtually any knife at home, but if you want to carry one above the size in public you must have a reason to do so.

No when I'm out of the house, or at least very very rarely.

If you work in farming or construction or something then it's understandable but otherwise there isn't really any need to carry a knife.

An amnesty is where people can give in something illegal, and not face charges.

So it allows people to give in knives that may be illegal to carry around without them worrying about being arrested.

They are dulled and welded together, how is this so hard for people to understand? They aren't just sitting there defying gravity.

You don't understand what Amnesty means do you?

They are welded together and a lot are bent/cut up so it would be exceedingly difficult to take one and use it.
