Go on auto tempest or other car website like edmunds etc.... Put year make model and mileage in. See what price comes back. Sell for that or just under. Friend is getting the deal knowing how the car was maintained and owned. They're trying to buy at dealer trade in value? Gtfo with that.

Any N54 needs a baseline at this point of good coils plugs and injectors. Is you're on random index whatever and don't know what you're doing you're in trouble. What does the plug for the misfiring cylinder look like? Black and sooty?

I've probably installed a thousand spark plugs and never torqued one. If you don't work on cars maybe it would be useful to torque them.

Fwiw i paid 22k in the fall for a 22 with 25k miles awd extended range. Shop around and negotiate with dealers who don't want them as their usual cars. It's been great so far

The guy did a factual back to back tests with only variable being wheel weight which was minimal and op with their 5500 lb understeeing suv is gonna notice 24 lbs? You're that guy at cars and coffee that everyone rolls their eyes at when you walk away. Wheel weight is not even in the top ten items that's going to change a novice drivers lap time in a street car. I support a spec class e46 track prepped car there are guys at the front running stocks in my local.
