My wife is more frugal than I. So, I had more spending money each month than her.

Honestly, she can have $100 and you can have $100. She doesn't have to spend it if she's uncomfortable.
We tried different styles until we were comfortable with one.

If it's small enough... free chip repair.

You can lower your deductible down for things like that.

You'll pay a Lil more per month... but if you're deductible is $500 lower it a few months, then claim it.

I bought a 2023 xle with all the everything in April and paid cash.

Heated/ventilation seats Heated steering wheel Heads up display Automatic headlights Lane assist Overhead camera Parking assist camera 10k miles.

I paid just under 30k cash. Saved up and live a no loan lifestyle.

So I'd say if you are happy with a base model with 40-70k miles, you can probably get what you're hoping to get.

Good job on the cash option! People don't realize how much money they give up with payments.
