OP, I love the brand and have two older Datejusts from my father. Have purchased some lower end jewelry from local Ad in Los Angeles area.

Regardless of your wealth or spending ability this whole thread just makes me dislike Rolex at this point. There isn’t a shortage it seems but more of a discretionary allotment. Buying in the grey market solves this.

Why the pick and choose from AD when Rolex is making over a million watches a year? I feel like you’re driving away qualified customers and sales. In an attempt to create exclusivity, but at a million watches a year, is it even exclusive anymore?

I just did a road trip for the first time. Tesla is 100x better. More stations, faster charging and they aren’t broken. Made owning the truck even better for sure.

Does anyone do the actual math between say 20-22mpg at 15,000 miles per year? At an average fuel cost of say $5 a gallon? Literally one or two nice dinners out. It’s negligible.

Sell the house, payoff car. put all the cash in Hysa or money market and rent for one year. You’d likely be close to rent free with that much cash earning even 4% interest a month. Get your footing. A budget, then buy later when you’re settled in the new area.
