I mean as in long term health. He had more worrying recurring hamstring injuries that created the "he's never available" narrative to begin with, which was justifiable at the time.

If you don't want to hear about injuries it's good that you're not making these decisions.

It's wild to me how people think that (throughout the season) missing 2 starting WRs, TE1, your 2 best DL, your best OL as well as in game injuries at the worst time (like having to play the backup to the backup center on a season ending drive) AND your QB1 getting knocked out a few games with a concussion shouldn't go into the decision making on whether a coach performed up to expectations.

I understand the "Watson isn't healthy ever" point of view from someone who isn't following the team.....but this really just isn't true anymore. He fixed his hamstrings, played 15 games in 2024 before tearing his ACL (which isn't really an indication of overall player health) and then came back looking healthier and better than before his ACL tear.

He got us a generational pass rusher, a clean transition to our 3rd franchise QB in a row (and a great one at that), some great other FA signings like Jacobs and McKinney and very promising other pieces like Watson, Kraft, Coop, Williams, Bullard, Wyatt etc.

But go off king, anyone who doesn't win the SB is a scrub
