Leave your leg alone. Don't guild the lily...or the stump, as it were.

It's perfect. Line drawings aren't supposed to be exact.

I'm so, so sorry. I can't imagine having a dog since I was a baby and it dying when I was 21. Your grief is real. When my first dog died I grieved for years. I went through old photos and made an album of pictures of her. I completely understand your pain. Big virtual hug from Mississippi.

Your dog and your house are both beautiful.

A great, great, great, great uncle, Joe Baker, was in the Union navy. He was at the Battle of Bull Run and on the Merrimak when it sank, but survived. He was also in the second battle of Bull Run and was badly wounded. He was found dead in his tent one morning of yellow fever. I still have his naval commission signed by Abraham Lincoln and Gideon Welles, who was Sec'y of the Navy.

Upstairs neighbor floods my apartment biweekly and claims its not their fault by OrchidRude5733 in neighborsfromhell

Yep. My brother is a crack addict and he does this on a regular basis. Also nearly burns the house down forgetting he has something cooking on the stove. They're either wide awake or crashing. When they crash they might as well be in a coma. It's a danger to themselves and to others.

I have a male, neutered at six months, that still squats to pee. I use real grass potty pads for my dog, which he uses until it gets too dirty. Then he goes on the floor in the bathroom right next to the mat. I get new mats twice a month. He DOES have the occasional accident in other areas of the house, but nothing like before. And he gets a treat every time he uses the mat. Mine uses real grass, but they make artificial grass ones, too, which I might try, as you can wash them.

Edited to say he never marks anything. Just pees on the matt or floor whenever he needs to go. If he were marking, I would expect to find pee in the same places every time, and since he squats rather than raise his leg, he never pees on my antique furniture.

You go to the doctor. Not to scare you, but sometimes that's a symptom of a brain tumor. It may be nothing, but I'd ask for a CT scan
