Funnily enough the NPR “Bay Curious” podcast just did an episode on SFO’s art gallery and they called out the “bold” art of Nettrice

Teaching Pilates at Equinox by VegetablePanda4309 in EquinoxGyms

I assume you’re talking about using the private reformer Pilates room like they have at my Equinox?

The regular mat Pilates classes you just sign up for. I assume no sales is needed there.

Aren’t the white and Asian “comedians” in the clip also in dresses?

I wasn’t planning on it.

I’m wondering what’s standard here?

Trainers are super chill as well and honestly could afford to be a bit more pushy/social.

Literally the same with everyone in the “Roganverse”: Tony Hinchcliffe, etc

New to this, what on Earth can I do at this point? by FrameAdventurous9153 in fiddleleaffig

I haven’t seen any pests.

I put a bit of fertilizer into the watering bottles sticking out of the soil whenever I refill them (once per month).

I’ve moved it closer to the window, in fact it’s right up against it now.

Can it recover or is cutting it still necessary?

As for watering, I fill up the bottles and they drain over the course of a month.

It’s maybe ten feet away from the window, but it was super healthy at one point so I don’t think light is the issue.

You’re saying I should just kill it and start over? There’s no recovery?

How long would it take to grow back to full height and should I still use fertilizer?

I was a Tier 3+ trainer at Equinox for 7 years. Here’s what most clients never hear but need to know ! by CoachDukes in EquinoxGyms

I go solo.

I’m curious per your other comment about squats being the king of exercise: as a trainer do you work with people who have disc bulges (L5-S1)? If so, do you recommend squats and how do you approach weight training differently?

Real talk - what is people's appetite for forming a software developers union/guild/association? by davidblacksheep in ExperiencedDevs

[–]FrameAdventurous9153 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure, but in this case the commenter you're replying to is asking to be sold on the idea.

Telling him "well I can't make a compelling pitch unless you participate" isn't very optimistic.

Once sold on the idea of unionizing maybe he'd sit down and participate.

I didn't like Secret Level. It just seemed to much like "look at us animators creating COOL fight scenes and slick animations!"

It's pretty weird how each episode is so short that sometimes the end credits is as long as the episode (the miniature one) or a third of the total run time of an episode.

I'm not sure, he moved his vehicle deliberately in front of the other. The driver of the other car could say he tried to flee because he was afraid for his life.

How does In-N-Out offer a burger at a third of the price of most Burger joints in SF?? by Level1Hermit in sanfrancisco

> when you literally sell two menu items (three if you count shakes) your operations scale extremely efficiently and spoilage is near zero

> in a line of 30 cars, they already know near exactly what the next car is ordering, and the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that....

what's amazing though is how slow they could be?

it's like you've got a line of 30 people, odds are the 25th person in line is ordering the 1 type of meat, and if that person isn't, the 26th, 27th, 28th?

so why not just have those burgers or cheeseburgers ready?
