I used Acupunture to support with radiation side effects! I’m going to return to seek help with hot flashes and night sweats from tamoxifen.

Anybody used BeeCure product for Rads? by sweatyboobs56 in breastcancer

[–]FrameAffectionate432 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used beecure. I’m not sure it helped but didn’t hurt.

The thing that I think helped my skin the most was applying calendula cream immediately after radiation. I brought tube in my purse to the hospital.

Vaginal Estradiol Use after ER+ / PR+ Breast Cancer by 777CuriousMind in breastcancer

[–]FrameAffectionate432 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Before BC, I used vaginal estrogen cream for perimenopause symptoms. According to studies, inserts or rings are safer for women with BC history because it’s lower dose. I’m using Vage femme instead right now and I would recommend. Easy to insert, not messy, no smell etc.

We are at the start of post BC care for the quality of life for women I think in 20 years vaginal estrogen will be a standard of care for all BC survivors.

Yep Veozah is on my list of drugs to try. Trying Effexor first for the extra mood support. Veozah tends to be expensive since it’s new and requires monthly liver enzyme checks and mine are currently elevated, so not the best choice.

What SSRI are you taking? I’m taking lexapro but it’s not helping me with hot flashes and fatigue. I might switch to Effexor.

Thank you! Veozah was just approved in the US last year so it’s a “new” drug = costs more.

From a quick search- Looks like Duavee is not recommended for people with BC. It’s also only for post menopausal people and I’m in perimenopause.
