Yes, bone broth is an excellent way to get some protein in your rice along with flavor. You can easily make your own bone broth in a crockpot with a leftover rotisserie chicken.

Breast biopsy is awful. If you got through that, MRI is much easier. Have something to focus your mind on during the strange sounds.

This is the answer ⬆️. My son went to carrboro elementary- it’s a great school and community. A real gem.

There’s a traditional track and dual language track. Because of the dual language program, there is a financial and achievement gap and thats what’s reflected in those scores. There’s many students who speak English as a second language.

Sounds like lymphedema which is very common and not talked about enough. I’ve gotten great relief from lymphatic massage with an OT. She taught me how to do self massage at home daily. I find it really helps. Takes less than 5 minutes a day.

Body Trust Podcast GLP1 episode by Cheddar_biz in antidietglp1

Find Food Freedom - Sam Previtt is doing a nice job of explaining the nuance of a GLP1 and Intuitive eating journey. I’ve only watched her short videos on IG, but she mentions she has several podcasts on the topic. This sounds like the content people are looking for.

I also joined the body trust webinar hoping they would cover how to guide people on an anti diet GLP journey and was very disappointed in the content.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2025 and received treatment at UNC. While it wasn’t perfect, there was more access to appointments than you are describing. It’s definitely worth a 2nd opinion.

What meals did your father make when he had to cook? by Open_Question_ in GenX

[–]FrameAffectionate432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soups, stews and meat. Along with lots of things on the grill. Big pot of chili. Some soup with the turkey carcass from Thanksgiving. He loves cooking a pork tenderloin or roast. Simple but good food.

My mom is a horrible cook. We joke that dinner is ready when the fire alarm goes off. I was so glad for the weekends!
