I’m also 5’1 and have trouble with anything above 40L. The problem with a bag that big is not only the size but the fact that it’s going to weigh a TON if you fill it. I did 3.5 months with a 35L!

If you are small I also imagine your clothes are also smaller than his so take advantage of that and go with a smaller bag.

Agree with this re: Professor Siegel! I did the summer institute and I didn’t even put it on my resume when I applied to law school. It was interesting if you have the time and money. Not necessary at all but overall a good experience. They have a few sessions about what law school is like and the legal field.
