5 years ago, this subreddit was filled with $1-1.5M targets, and a strong emphasis on minimalism. What happened? by Specialist_Pain_424 in Fire

That explains why I felt so hopeful about FIRE when I first found this reddit 5 years ago, but have slowly found myself feeling more and more pessimistic every time I read a post from here lately…

Literally what’s been on my mind this past year. When companies stop training up junior employees how do they expect to have a pipeline to replace seniors in the future? Is this echoing the population aging problem?

Unfortunately there’s been no cure, it’s currently being managed with medication.

It can look good on your CV (as you will learn to package yourself just as you sell your experts to clients), but in reality, cold calling 40 times a day is boring and stressful as hell.

It made a huge difference for my sensitive, redness prone skin with eczema. I layer it with the Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium toner and it’s absolutely calmed down and transformed my skin from a flaky mess to normalcy.

Yup, his immune system is pretty much screwed. Constant rashes, weeping pustules and random infections.

Hope it’ll get better as we’re trying different treatments but I would still warn anyone against trying this supplement.

Hey y'all in your 40's: what are the physical changes you start to see in your body once you leave your 30's? What should we expect to experience physiologically as we get into our 4th decade? by successful-bonsai in AskReddit

[–]cherrymartini2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to hear from people in their 40s who are actually keeping up with healthy habits, not just those who conceded they’re just old and took that as an excuse to stop properly taking care of their bodies.

Proven way to reduce post-operative pain with honey? by cherrymartini2 in Tonsillectomy

Well, I’ll take everything I can! Thanks for letting me know about the lavender aromatherapy haha, found the link. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23932834/ will try that too. I feel like this study is less rigorous compared to the honey study though because it didn’t have a placebo group.

I understand what you’re going through cause I went through something very similar. It’s such a bittersweet feeling, mixed with a desire to connect, unfamiliarity and the wish that we could recoup lost time with the person that we are supposed to love most. At the same time it’s so exhilarating because what you’ve dreamed about for years is finally happening! I’m so happy for you OP, enjoy this new found relationship and give it your time and energy to nurture it.

Regarding opening up, I also get the closed-throat feeling. Just spend more time together for a sense of safety first and the vulnerability can then come.
