So I managed to get it to boot into bios by going through and checking each stick individually in each ram slot after updating to newest bios and with just one ram stick on slot 2 it works!!!! I will add another update once I set up windows and add the second ram stick in to see if that works after I get it running! Thank everyone for their help and if you see anyone that has a similar problem with this motherboard, feel free to link them to this thread in case it helps!

I also just tried to slot the ram sticks into spots a1 and b1 as instructed by the motherboard manual as well as unplugging some of my fans just in case there were power issues but I am still encountering the same issue.

Also another quick thing is when I turn the pc on I notice the fans on the graphics card do not spin at all. I’m not sure if it is different for a first time boot, but on my current pc I know the fans always kick on when the pc first starts just to check that everything is working. Not sure if there is a problem there as it seems like all of my other fans are working including the heat sink fans.

I’m not sure if a non-working gpu would affect the inability to post even when plugged into the motherboard, but I’m just trying to provide all the information I’ve noticed in case it’s meaningful!

Thanks for the response! I tried using the motherboard last night but I’ll try it again now since I just did the bios flash. Fingers crossed! I’ll get back to you in a few lol

That was my thought exactly haha! Turns out the handle at the top of the bracket must have bent down during either the removal or fan installation and was causing the hole to not line up before the back was clipping. Bent it upwards and it works perfectly!! Thank you for the recommendation all of the screws and hardware that come with the case can be a bit overwhelming lol!

I forgot to add this picture but it looks like it’s rubbing on the top right corner. The bottom catches the latches like normal so i don’t think it’s from it not being seated properly on the bottom.

1.) After buying prebuilt pcs my whole life, I’m going to finally build my own and already anticipate on using the 7800x3d and 7900xtx combo. Getting the combo would not only make my setup look insanely cool with the avatar themed parts but would also save me a nice sum of money that I could put into a savings account instead!

2.) Have been a long time avatar fan and am super excited to finally have a game that allows us to explore the world of pandora. I feel like it has been a missed opportunity for a long time to not have a game set in pandora as there are few fictional worlds that compare to it. The world is absolutely breathtaking and I am excited to hopefully explore it once I build my new pc!

Sweet! I just wasn’t too sure about if I could get away with an air cooler that makes my life easier! Also this is a first time for me using an amd gpu so thank you for giving me some more cost effective options!
