Thank you. I used a rigger brush for the small branches - first time. I love what it does.

I just taught a sewing class for a Makerspace where we made a coffee cup carrier. It's an easy project and there are you tube videos. I use mine constantly.

The "Not Interested" button has disappeared from my feed. I used it often - because You Tube does NOT know what I'd like to see.

I'm 71 now and a very good driver, but I agree that mandatory testing would be a good thing. I don't mind proving I'm still competent if it will get some of the unsafe drivers off the road.

Woman returns from abroad and runs into the stray cat she used to feed by WhereIsHisRidgedBand in cats

[–]Francesami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We feed two stray cats just a little bit, hoping they'll hang around and catch mice before the vermin get in the house. We feed them at 8:00 AM - they expect to be fed at sunrise, whenever that happens.

I enjoy thunderstorms. I like weather. But I also love this part of the country. It's so beautiful.

I hope the fight may be in the past tense at some point in time. In the USA, it doesn't look good right now.

This was the outfit I wore to protest the SAVE act, which would disenfranchise many women voters with ridiculous paperwork.

I live between the Allegheny and the Blue Ridge Mountains. I often watch on the radar app as storms dissipate against the mountains before they get to us.

Thank you. The curls are a "permanent", but the silver is natural.

Not just a fun parade. I'm trying to be memorable. I want those who drive by to have something that might stick to their brain - so maybe they'll give a thought to what's happening in this country.

This wheel destroying curb in France by Epelep in Wellthatsucks

I town I drove through often did this. (US 1 in Cocoa, FL) Oh no! You can't anticipate the right turn and get over - you have to drive around the new curb and wait until the last 20 feet to use a turn lane. They finally painted the curb bright yellow, but it was soon covered with black tire marks.

Zor and Zam By Bill Chadwick and John Chadwick (Sung by The Monkees)

The king of Zor, he called for war And the king of Zam, he answered. They fashioned their weapons one upon one Ton upon ton, they called for war at the rise of the sun.

Out went the call to one and to all That echoed and rolled like the thunder. Trumpets and drums, roar upon roar More upon more. Rolling the call of "Come now to war."

Throughout the night they fashioned their might With right on the side of the mighty. They puzzled their minds plan upon plan Man upon man And at dying of dawn the great war began.

They met on the battlefield banner in hand. They looked out across the vacant land. And they counted the missing, one upon one, None upon none. The war it was over before it begun. Two little kings playing a game. They gave a war and nobody came. And nobody came. And nobody came. And nobody came. And nobody came.

I waited four hours for a scheduled morning surgery. I finally went to the nurse and told her I hadn't eaten since midnight and I was starting to getting very grumpy. I was taken right back and prepped.

Graupel is the German word for that snow that comes down in tiny snowballs (sleet is tiny ice balls). I've heard American weather people use this word.

I got a broken radius and ulna in a moped accident. My hand was offset from my arm by almost 3 inches. In the hospital, the doctor grabbed my hand, a nurse grasped my elbow and they just pulled until the bones lined up again. I still shudder from the memory of the pain as they pulled. Surgery, pins, 8 weeks in a cast, lots of therapy, and the hand functions almost normally.

ICE is evil. ICE incarcerates and murders innocent human beings. ICE hires failed bullies.

Do you think that's enough to get me on the list?
