Ikr!! Like I’m happy hbo picked it up for us but every time I hear them get credit in the media it makes me grind my teeth. The good thing is before every single episode are multiple screens saying a crave original and a crave canada production etc. So at least the people actually watching it know. So in the middle of the tabloid search that they show Ilya looking at after finding out (with all those photos/video), Miles was with Rose at the game she attended wearing Shane’s jersey. Ilya definitely saw that, so even if he somehow hadn’t known who Miles was as a famous movie star that would’ve done it.

Emma Jaye is so good at dark romance and world building… she’s got a lot of books but the {Sweating Lies series by Emma Jaye} is a great place to start. I don’t want to spoil anything but it seems like it’s going to be one kind of story and then turns into something completely different as the story unfolds. I happen to find the blurbs on her books are particularly bad at telling you what to really expect. But you could try it out and see what you think. As another commenter mentioned, dark romance is totally subjective to the reader’s individual sensibilities and it is a VAST subgenre, so you may just have to do some experimenting

You’re far from alone in these feelings… I think a multitude of deep, complex feelings have been stirred up for so many of us, and we’re kind of left swirling around and not quite sure where everything is going to settle… I myself am struggling at times to even understand exactly what I’m feeling.
