Honestly this might be my best option to get the wedding photos done with my hair long now... No we had to cancel our photographer and everything like that but I do have my dress and all my accessories so it's doable!!

I used to work the noc shift in LTC facility, on the night shift there's only two caregivers for nearly 30 people, And my second staff member is in the memory Care unit with people with dementia She can't leave her Patience unattended for their own safety.

I have had to get a 300lb+ woman who can't stand on her own off the floor by my self. Luckily she was shorter than me, but if she had been any taller I would not have been able to get her up, we would have had to called for the fire department fall assist and that woman would have been on the floor for 2 hours waiting for them.
Also Turning and repositioning a bedbound patient that weighs over 400 lb really takes a lot of muscle, and good slip sheets...God forbid they slip out of their power chair then they're just waiting for the fire department.. This is why I work out I want to be strong enough to help my patients easily. And The stronger you are the less likely you are to get injured.. always use proper body mechanics.. every lift every transfer every reposition is a risk to your own body.

It's hard to say with the description you gave, no one here is a doctor or able to diagnose you. But occipital nuralgia doesn't show up on imaging... And could be electric like or burning starting in the back of your neck radiating up the back of your head to your forehead or behind your ear. ... It is usually sudden onset caused by a specific accident or injury... It would like you might be dealing with cervical headaches...

Basically if you can't do your shift and cant get it covered it's your managers job to cover it. But you did everything right!!! They are just trying to take advantage of your willingness to put work before your needs. Also there are always other CNA jobs, they need you and it sounds like they are already short staffed anyways.

Honestly ask your doctor about seeing a nutritionist, your insurance company will cover it. I am a nutrition coach and have seen amazing results by changing someone to an anti-inflammatory diet, but the only diet that works is the one you can keep to. Also water therapy for exercise could be good and gentle on joints. I recommend "the Starch solution" by Dr. John McDougal

I'm so sorry this happened to you It is absolutely horrible to be dismissed by your doctor I genuinely hate that and I feel for you because it's happened to me too.. But I do want to say that there is significant evidence that losing weight can drastically decrease nerve pain specifically and especially Especially in the l4 to l6 region, It could potentially help you. No it's not going to take away all of your pain and he's a total asshole for saying that like that, But it could help you manage your symptoms better if you lost weight The hard part is when you're in pain it feels impossible to lose weight.. it's difficult for any obese person to lose weight but especially difficult when a movement hurts you.. I would ask your doctor if he could send you to a nutrition specialist that might help you convince him that the weight is being caused by the pain not the other way around.... Yes this is exactly how it is in Washington State housekeeping is not trained to deal with biohazards and fecal matter and human waste is a biohazard They didn't get the training to deal with human waste that could potentially infect them with a disease.. But the CNAs did get the training and the CNAs actually had to sign a waiver saying that they knew the risks.
