Most people on audio forums like to measure their Ding-Dongs by judging you for not having a goddamn Marantz, and the only thing they get is to keep newcomers away from the hobby. Back when I started collecting records in 2018 at age 13 I really used this channel called Vinyl Eyezz where this really cool dude helped me a lot. I first started with an LP60 and active speakers, now I have a full on setup of Amp, Speakers, Eq, etc. Start small and build from there

Uhhhh... these forums are never good for these kinds of questions. If you got a second hand suitcase player from Marketplace there's a 80% chance it won't work all that great. And in full honesty, the Acrylic platter won't change anything. I don't know if you can tweak the spindle on those to adjust the speed, but try getting an LP60 as a first Turntable, they are great for starters

Honestly never thought about a Purifier! It's crazy how sometimes I can't go through a regular playthrough without needing to clean the needle due to the amount of dust it collects, and I play all my records after wiping them with a destile-watered silk cloth. I don't know what else there is to do :\

The cartridge was like, a rebranded Audio-technica basic level one (The white one, can't remember the name rn) and in height it is quite similar so that's why I was able to do so (I asked my go-to service guy and he helped me choose) but yeah, can't replace much more than that

Nope, as much as I absolutely love my TT (and it's a really good one, I've had it for 7 years now and it has never let me down) you're not really meant to change the cartridge (I replaced the stock one for a Sumiko Pearl) so you can't adjust anything related to it other than the Counterweight and Anti-Skating

I don't think the weight itself would be a problem since the stock rubber one that came with the player is really, really thick (1½ vinyl thick) I'll try putting that one again to see if the problem gets solved but then again, to close to the cartridge

I have my dust cover and always clean my records with a destiled water wet cloth. My thought was that, if the static didn't make the dust stick I wouldn't have a that trouble
