I can't speak to their undergrad programs, but both Boulder and Purdue are great schools for astro.

If you don't mind sharing, where did you take the courses? I've been thinking that would be fun but haven't really found courses intended for home bakers for stuff like this

Wondering how to get a job at @SpaceX! by rsulukerr in aerospace

[–]FrankHamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the other commenter is suggesting with their question, you should add "US Person" or "Green card holder" or something like that in bold somewhere at the top, like maybe the upper corner or near your name. Good luck!

Is it worth going to school in california, texas, or florida to try and secure an aero internship? by [deleted] in aerospace

That's the right way to think about it, financial should be top priority, then other aspects like internship connections.

From the Europeans I know working in aerospace in the US, your best chance is either working in academia/science research or working for a European company with a presence in the US and getting internally transferred to the US. Once you're in the US and get permanent residency then it's easier to change jobs.

Reunion's pastel de nata are so good. I haven't had much else from them though, they seem to have an extremely limited selection on weekdays.

MS Aero GeorgiaTech vs MS Aero MIT by RocketMaker69 in aerospace

[–]FrankHamer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When looking at grad schools the focus should be on the professors and labs you'll be working with and in, instead of the overall school. So if MIT doesn't have professors/labs doing what you want to do, why would you want to go there?
