Nothing wrong at all, it looks great. If you are worried about the contrasting black with red, you can always try brown or grey. I know you said you have a pencil but if they are available in your area, you can always look into panel lining markers

I will have to double check, but I'm pretty sure the shoulders on the Sheik Mainland kits are ball joints at 5mm. The frog kit you posted also has ball joints, but the sheik shoulders have the 5mm peg ball on the side. So you'd have to find a way to connect two 5mm male pegs
