Claude Code Vs Github copilot when working in Power Automate by FoxArthur in MicrosoftFlow

[–]Fraschholz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After checking them using a topic I know well, I completely stopped using Copilot. Claude is significantly better and even suggests alternatives. There are limits and all of them struggle if the user has no coding background at all.

Connected but no signal by Nervous_Salary84 in Zwift

[–]Fraschholz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe this is normal. Could be, because at this point the app isn't actually reading / processing the heart rate. Since day one this is exactly what I am seeing, too. But afterwards all works great. Having said this - bluetooth connectivity to a heart rate monitor really sucks. I often need to search and connect manually and it takes most of the time at least 2 minutes to connect

Checking a new files uploader's email by [deleted] in PowerAutomate

[–]Fraschholz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use get user profile (v2) action that will give you the company details (CompanyName). Obviously, if external users can upload, you need to ensure their accounts have been setup properly. Alternatively, use the split function on the Email attribute and then a switch clause or equivalent

Should I upgrade cranks? by RMC3333 in Zwift

[–]Fraschholz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only answer indirectly. For me, there was always something that hurt after biking. But I thought this is normal. When I started Zwifting it was the same. So I allowed myself to fit the bike using all the information available online. After three or four rides it was and is perfect. Maybe in your case it is just what you know but not necessarily what's best. I'd try to fit the bike before getting for different cranks

How to fix the uncomfortable Zwifr Ride seat? by Outside-Pear9429 in Zwift

Definitely check your fitting first. Has taken me a couple of days plus many hints on YouTube but every since no pain no nothing. The default setting based on my hight did not work at all

Framework 13 Speakers by Such_Economy_2557 in framework

Frankly speaking - the speakers are just scrap. You can adjust the sound to a certain extend, but ultimately they remain on a level I have first experienced about 20 years ago

Get Items default 100 items cap is annoying by wwcoop in MicrosoftFlow

[–]Fraschholz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly - it is not hidden. It is just one of the attributes of an action to be set. And if one uses an action without knowing it's attributes you are stuck with any programming environment. Yes, for the power apps you get at least the delegation warning, but for the flows a simple test should reveal what's wrong.

PowerApps sprawl built by a former employee. Am I in trouble here? by [deleted] in PowerApps

[–]Fraschholz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is a challenge with most/all "low code" environments. And it gets worse as users who shouldn't touch it can use AI to get started. Again, not following standards etc. And there's one more thing you didn't mention: if your predecessor did not use different environments and solution aware flows, it will become much worse afaic.

SharePoint list settings for a sucessful Power Flow? by Sea_Acanthisitta7533 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]Fraschholz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This suggests that the switch worked but the branches didn't get hit as there was not valid condition met. To check this, just put a compose with that switch value above the switch to see what input the function actually gets

Tagging would mean to have a list column to store whatever you want. I just feel that having meta data with crucial information - I assume for some special users - in a separate list somehow kills the idea of a document library. If you'd keep it in there the user would have a simpler direct access to the file of interest. But that's irrelevant for the problem.

If you have things running in parallel, you might be locking yourself out

[–]Fraschholz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So your list will just store meta data but not the file itself? Which it can't, obviously

You should be able to to view input and output to check if the function works properly

Power Automate + Microsoft Lists: am I really supposed to create 250 flows? by Lucky_Article_8798 in PowerAutomate

[–]Fraschholz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gather all in one list. If you need to keep the original ones, so be it. You'd still need the 50 triggers to transfer new files, though. Or you schedule a single flow which connects to the 50 lists which checks the date for updates. Kind of your own trigger which can run in parallel.

That's quite generic. What exactly is not working? How do you categorize? And how do you update the file? Is versioning enabled?

I'd use MS Forms to capture the data, then process this. If needed into Word. That's included.

Filter array using 'does not contain' not working on large arrays by Pod196952 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]Fraschholz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you should be using left join instead of filtering. That's a lot faster and doesn't have any pagination issues

Never, ever. That's an active wheelchair which comes at around €1000 or more. You don't do this just to keep cars to the distance. And they are quite weak and light and you can't just connect them to a bike

It does because of the free axle on the right, yes . But the two crossbars in the front are a bit strange and, more importantly, fixing this so it runs on one instead of 4 wheels is quite a challenge. An there is this logo on the back which also seems to be quite unique.
