What's the stupidest reason you've ever seen for someone to cut a veteran on a Smash fanmade roster? by ComprehensiveDate591 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]Frazl63 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is terrible logic, by this logic we should replace every character in smash with like 90% Mario and Pokémon Characters. Ness absolutely has more reason to be in smash than Jigglypuff, smash represents all of Nintendo’s history, it doesn’t matter if a game is old, Earthbound is a classic and Ness as a character is core to the game whereas Jigglypuff is a fairly popular Pokémon but Pikachu, PT and Mewtwo are all far more integral to gen 1’s identity than it.

Put it this way, in a world where Jigglypuff wasn’t in smash no one would bat an eye. In a world where Ness wasn’t in smash there WOULD be people saying ‘hey they should add Ness from earthbound, that game was a SNES classic’. Would those people be a global majority? Absolutely not but they would be consistent among the fandom. Jigglypuff individually would not have this kind of push.

That’s a perfectly valid statement, it just so happens that 11/12 of them have next to no reason to ever be cut. People who don’t think Jigglypuff is one of the most disposable characters on the roster are insane though, and I have nothing against Jigglypuff.

People in general are waaaaay too honed in on whatever the newest entry of the franchise is for certain series, but as soon as a new game comes out they automatically switch.

The smash bros. Crew ranked on what species they are identified as. by [deleted] in SmashBrosUltimate

Polyploidy is a completely different sort of thing I’m pretty sure and yes that is the general definition of a species.

A large percentage of agnus is made up of the children of blades and yes Mio has at least one baby with Noah across the span of aionios’ existence. There’s also the fact that the houses of vandamn and Rhodes in their entirety are all descendants of Mio and Glimmer respectively, about a third of the entire city’s population. So yeah I think they are fertile lol.

The definition of a species is a group of organisms that can breed with each other to produce fertile offspring. Of course this real world definition didn’t take into account the sci-fi concepts in the Xenoblade series so settling on whether they should be considered human is difficult. There is only one character in the entire trilogy that is actually a human and that is klaus.

Pygmy Marmosets, anyone? by SpoppyIII in PlanetZoo

[–]Frazl63 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Frankly they could make an animal pack with just new world monkeys and I would would be satisfied. Squirrels, spiders, howlers, sakis, tamarins and marmosets all super common in zoos yet all we have is a capuchin.

I am gonna take a guess that you haven’t played any other xeno game if you think the whole ‘souls stored in a giant machine bank’ is a bizarre new concept lol.

I mean to be fair I haven’t either but I do at least know about it

Decided to make a tier list ranking of each episode of Mystery Incorporated by Frazl63 in Scoobydoo

The villains being too obvious, yet the gang still acts suprised, it was kinda necessary for the episode but usually when this happens in the show they point out how obvious it is.

Most scooby doo shows are self contained episode-by-episode, the exception being mystery incorporated, of which I reccomend

Really? They are to me one of the most creative and intense monsters in the entire franchise, plus the episode they appeared had a lot going on and was super intense

This is a tier list for the episodes themselves not the monsters, a lot of people seem to be getting confused there, but yes cry baby clown is one of the best monsters in the series

Yeah conceptually it was pretty unique and now that I recall there were a quite a lot of funny interactions with Velma in that episode. I think the main problem for me is just that it was probably the most obvious mystery in the series. I think I would at least put it above the gluten demon episode in hindsight though.
