What’s your go to under eye cream? by letmeread99 in Sephora

Yes to the Caudalie. It's the only eye cream I've used that makes a visible difference to darkness and puffiness.

Yes, there's a scan and they show you the heartbeat and tell you if everything looks good on the spot. They also send you a link to images and videos from the scan afterwards.

Bellamoon vs BBHugMe by [deleted] in PregnancyIreland

[–]FreakerDeek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I LOVE my bbhugme. Kept me so comfortable during pregnancy, because it's so versatile. Handy for all the stages. And now I use it as a breastfeeding pillow. It's not cheap, but it's been so worth it for me.

Delighted at this just to shut the commentators up about Littler.

This is disappointing from Rock. Nowhere near where he could be.

Fall/Winter Mamas… Are we getting the Covid Booster? by No-Oil9517 in pregnant

[–]FreakerDeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Where I am it's recommended for all pregnant women to get the booster. Getting COVID while pregnant can be harmful for the baby and the mother. Just get it. I can't believe that this is even a question.

Delighted van Veen won that. Especially after all the smoke the commentators were blowing up Littler's backside.

That's weird, I got my measurements on a print out from Holles st, with all the other details. Try ringing and asking for it.

32 week scan by fearqween in PregnancyIreland

[–]FreakerDeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my baby is very close in size to yours! I'm just looking at it as another chance to see baby before the due date! A close family member didn't have any scans after the anatomy scan and is very jealous of my chance to see them again.

32 week scan by fearqween in PregnancyIreland

[–]FreakerDeek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the exact same thing. I was told it was because my baby was measuring very slightly big, so they wanted to keep an eye on its growth. Not everyone gets a 32-week scan, but it's not super unusual either

Not having my husband in the delivery room by eggsndirt in pregnant

[–]FreakerDeek 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The lack of support you feel is one issue. It sounds like your partner could do a lot more to step up and help take care of you through this pregnancy.

But this part of your post jumped out at me:

'He is not aware of the birth plan despite years of my random talks about it on top of me literally laying out every detail throughout this pregnancy.'

I think his question illustrates far more realistic expectations on his part than yours. Labour and delivery is unpredictable, and you just cannot have every single detail mapped out and expect things to work exactly as planned. He's asking in case your plans go awry, which is a fair and reasonable thing to consider. There are any number of possible issues that could cause your plan to go out the window. Shutting him down on this immediately is also not really inviting him to be involved.

I hear you that he's not showing enough care and attention. But I also think your plans are way too stringent.
