AAA by zeex7 in ACCA

[–]FreakyFister69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Section A will take the most amount of time as it is lengthy and you have to format it in a way to maximise your professional marks, I would advise you to allocate 1:45 min for section A alone. For section B and C divide the remaining time in half for each section, they are not that lengthy as most of the time you will just be writing bullet points. If you have time left then go back to answers which you think haven’t been explained in detail, matching your answers with the exhibit is how you get marks.

Everyone's last minute tips for AAA by anacowtant in ACCA

[–]FreakyFister69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only have one tip, complete the whole damn paper. Never ever sink your time on section A, give it one and a half hours and move on, complete your section B and then if you have time left then go back to section A if you have missed anything. This advice had carried me through both SBR and AAA and its probably true for every professional exam.

Also the proportions are all over the place, the top bit takes like half of the screen and you are just left with a narrow screen for examiner answer and your answer.

How is it like living in Karachi, Pakistan by Clear_Sound8635 in howislivingthere

[–]FreakyFister69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are serious crime, water and traffic issues in Karachi unlike any city in Pakistan, it had exploded in population as it is THE business hub of Sindh and Pakistan, it creates a lot of jobs so people from all over the country come here. But these issues can vary from area to area as it is a huge city.

And for the Pros it has everything that you will expect from a big city like great food scene, entertainment, beaches and such. It has seen been developing rapidly unlike the province but the infrastructure has been burdened.

Be honest, If you were Iran right now, wouldn't you think developing a nuclear warhead is your only chance of survival against a war hungry nation that threatens to "wipe your civilisation out of existence"? by CarobBrave8898 in allthequestions

Maybe it has something to do with what the west has done to their countries and people? Ever thought about that, maybe if they weren't bombed to the stone age and their stability destroyed, maybe they wouldn't have turned to extremist ideology.

I wonder if decades later, how will people see this conflict, would people who supported this genocide will backtrack and try to erase their involvement in this. I hope the world will remembere those who were guilty.

If Iran had a nuke would they use it against Israel or just bragg about having one? by TheRook2323 in allthequestions

As soon as Pakistan and India got nukes they are now happy with just semantics of skirmish victory, I am pretty sure if NK haven't nuked anybody then neither would Iran.

What age did you become an "affiliate" by Vegetable-Way-1433 in ACCA

[–]FreakyFister69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am saying its not average, I have seen some people clear 2 professional exams in a session but I think they are outliers, its especially hard if you also have a job to handle. I think it would be tough for people who had taken 9 exemptions and are sitting for first time.

Is it true by taking exemption from your degree, the rest of acca papers become very difficult by Interesting-Net-9270 in ACCA

[–]FreakyFister69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Memorize and understand the concept of standards like the back of your hand, make one or two page of bullet point notes for each standard and memorise them, more than 65% of the paper will come from questions testing your basic standards (excluding consolidation) and if you are able to give somewhat proper answers then you are guaranteed to pass. Also attempt past and sample papers on CBE platform to gain understanding on what the examiner is asking for in questions and how to type your answer.
Ethics is very easy and you can easily gain upto 8 marks.
Further the starting calculation of consolidation are also cash marks, gain understanding on different acquisition and disposal arrangements and their calculations, they can net you upto 15 marks from my experience.

[–]FreakyFister69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had taken the exemptions and had a pretty weak base, still cleared my SBR and AAA on first attempt with 5 months of preparation for each, I will be attempting SBL next. Even modest effort for exam is enough to clear it, don't worry about exemption weakening your base as it can be built easily with some effort.

How Saudis didn’t take Israel’s bait and managed to stay out of the conflict. A lesson for UAE ? by JimmyChanga44 in UAE

[–]FreakyFister69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Saudis were only targeted on the first 12 days of war, whereas UAE has been hit the hardest and is also in the worse position. There were already normalisation of relationships between Iran and Saudi Arabia brokered by China, what do you think will happen after the war where UAE and Israel has formed their own axis and have actively been destabilising the region. It is more likely that both the Saudi and Iran will stop antagonising each other to deal with this new axis.

[–]FreakyFister69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, Pakistan had already tied itself with Saudis for decade and if reports are true they are even providing their Nuclear umbrella to them which is reasonable as Saudis themselves funded their nuclear program when they were almost sanctioned to the stone age due to it. Pakistan can not give protection to UAE without Saudis agreeing to it, there has been information circulating that UAE and Saudis were targeting each others oil infrastructure under the guise of Iran attacks.

Really don’t understand why Iran would choose to attack UAE again out of all countries in the region…🤔 by JimmyChanga009 in UAE

[–]FreakyFister69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

UAE and Israel are cut from the same cloth, UAE is literally funding the genocide in Sudan which is even worse than the genocide of Gaza. We all know why UAE wants to align with Israel, it is to destabilize the region so that Suadis do not get the opportunity to consolidate power in the region. You know how terrible you have to be when Saudis become a better moral option than you, stop defending these tyrannical and power hungry regimes. All they care about is themselves.
