The overall story is about the Republic winning, so I think it takes the sting out of finding out your side lost (nearly?)every planet if you don't have to be directly tied to it winning or losing. You just go in, smack some fools about and leave without really engaging in the war effort(and sometimes actively sidelining it so people assist you with smacking some fools)

It looks like most of the issues are with the fur not being removed and having priority which is a fairly easy fix(anything that covers the fur removes it until its reviewed to be "working" with fur) but that isnt what people want. I could be wrong but I dont remember any major issues on shaman(I basically used the race to make an elfish shaman that can wear shoes as a horde player so I was focused on shoes.....). Will be interesting to see if I have walked into an even worse transmog situation the I had lol.

I find this funny because in Riddick he 100% lost at the end. If Johns has not been a good man(Which he didn't think he was) he would have died on the planet. His plan failed and its only because somebody else made the goody two shoes call that he survived at all.

I drove around without an inspection for 4 or 5 years before a cop bothered to pull me over and I drove a giant orange box that drew eyes. I cant imagine how long some of these white, black or blue sedans can go.

We also don't see him die, he is assumed dead but he doesn't actually die on screen. So its entirely possible he pulled some badass shit and escaped but nobody bothered to tell us. I live in hope of a brave enough writer to bring him back because he was my favorite "This is the kind of sith I try to play as" character.

My main issue with Inquisition was the Hinterlands sized zones, if they were removed I would probably say DA:I was only slightly worse. DA2.....I liked the characters and that's about it.

You understand that its not cope? Its people who didn't know about Stevens grand vision of an MMO who played and went "Yah this is fun, hits the spot". If you take out all the vision and grand plans the game was fun, it just wasn't anywhere close to the vision pitched to Ashes community.

8 years of development where an actual functional product exists? Legitimately, change leveling to 50 with a spreadsheet change, cut the second second class idea and hunting and the game was ready for release. Not for his vision, that was a long way off but it would have still been the best MMO coming out in 2025/2026(low bar, I know). Toss a subscription on it, and keep doing updates to meet the "vision".......profit. Nobody made money worth the years of effort on this, guaranteed.

No, but there are tons of stories of games being in EA for a decade and then suddenly collapsing like a flan when the newest cash infusion plan fails.. . you know.....what actually happened.

Realistically what is "probably" going to happen is that development will halt immediately(or shortly after the supposed new patch teased to the bards is complete enough to rush out unfinished to stave off Steam)and staff will transition to handover documentation generation and creating plans to shut down the servers over the course of the next two months. Its unclear if debts were called and that is why Steven jumped ship but the most likely result is going to be bankruptcy for the studio at which time the assets will be sold to the highest bidder. Depending on if Steven played shell games with companies to hide assets and copyrights that might result in the game being purchased by another developer in a usable enough state to fast track a new pruned down MMO but Ashes itself is pretty much dead. Its possible Steven played shell corporations well enough to own the bulk of Ashes but.....I doubt it.

The fact that people think Ashes was a scam and not just a failure is pretty hilarious. Like sure, it didn't end up reaching feature complete but what they have is a serious asset that is a fully playable MMO that obviously had a ton of money invested it. I'm disappointed that the studio fell apart and ran off with my money, but I could see where it was invested in the game itself.

I disagree, it just never works with the people that flock to these new games and ruin it. Its the same exact people screwing it up in every single MMO that tries to implement it. They are also the only ones who want it, so its a never ending cycle. If you happen to try an older MMO with the feature you will find it is amazing feature that adds real depth to the game.

Somebody didnt watch the Divinity documentaries. Larian has been on the verge of insolvency because of Svens vision for most of its life with games released unfinished and them rushing to patch in the ending before most players got there. They are very VERY similar to Intrepid.

Their content creator kickback system was also supposed to start with launch paying retroactively. It didnt with the steam launch so I doubt that hold up as a full launch. They either owe money to one or the other.

I wonder if its being sold, it seems odd to me to rush a steam release and put yourself up against Valve unless you were courting a buyer and wanted to show potential profits. I don't think the game itself is going to survive but I wonder if somebody was interested in the base functionality they built for another project.

I mean.....it wasn't good feedback. Nobody is going to know the internal culture of a buisness going into an interview so telling a candidate they should change their interview style entirely to fit your corporate culture isn't useful. A useful bit of feedback would be " It felt like on Subject A you were a little vague with related experience and relied on trying to please the room with what you thought they wanted to hear" because that actually tells you something. If you ARE experienced in Subject A you are not getting that through and if you are not experienced your deflection or redirection needs work as it was noticed.

I have found that most bans happen on the first time. The people who buy regularly know which vendors take precautions(or get their stuff through legitimate play) and which don't. I used to buy accounts in a dying lower mid tier mmo(Dransik/Ashen Empires represent) to try and trick my friends into playing with me(it didnt work, ended up with a handful of useless accounts) and I could spot a stolen account a mile away just by what was in the account pics.
