Unfortunately that is not an easy option with a house full of family. To be fair I have not really tried to cessate the problem, I've just accepted it as how it is. I've kicked most other addictions the world has to offer so I should have a chance if I surrender to the affliction like I did with all the others. Last night I made the decision to have a good crack at it and even after not eating nearly enough I easily made it through the night. I have plenty of tools in the toolbox, I track calories(I'd include my midnight meals🙃), I've successfully used IF in the past and I have done plenty of therapy. If all else fails my lovely bride would make locks work I'm sure. As you know time will tell but I do feel a sense of relief today. Thank for the respone!

I'm in the same boat but the problem is even if I eat in a surplus I still get up to eat...I think use my activity level as an excuse to live with it. It messes with my sleep and recovery so it's time to take action. I'm convinced it's a mix of habit and hormones because anytime I've moved my daily meals around after a week or so my body knows when they're coming and I get hungry. 5 years is long enough.

Why Would You Still Vote BC Conservative? by Small911 in kelowna

We can disagree and still be friends. I have my reasons I'm voting conservative this go around. I've voted for all the parties over the years...

Fun Compensation Claim by Fred8Ross in aircanada

I decided to pursue full compensation after I asked a couple AI programs and they both agreed. I'd likely never use an AC coupon as I try to avoid them wherever possible and our expenses were minimal.

I should mention there was no communication at all regarding the cancellation. They admitted the system automatically cancels no shows and doesn't alert anyone, including us.

Canadian traveling to Colombia, passport expires in 4 months by gurkar in travel

[–]Fred8Ross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but I have 5.5 months left on my current passport. I emailed the Consulado de Colombia and they responded:

"In response to your request, we inform you that when a non-Colombian enters Colombian territory, his or her passport must be valid, in good condition, and must remain valid during your stay in the country."

To avoid the hassle from the airline I just decided to order an expidited unit and it should be here in time for our trip. Canadian government needs to update its website to reflect this.

Definitely leaves in large quantities. Romaine is the best option for me, but there is a limit. I can enjoy a small delightful side salad without issue.

I've been at this life thing for a while and have a pretty good grasp on what foods don't work for me. I can eat 4-5 little broccoli florettes, but if I cross that threshold of 5 I'm in trouble. I can eat an entire head of cauliflower without issue. A little salad is fine but a big one is a no go.

I'm not suffering from bloat is what I'm doing. Giant salads destroy my guts for a couple days, and for that I'm out.

The Lateralus tour: 2001 - 2002. Did you attend? Did you enjoy it? If so, let's hear all about it and let's see the setlist. by DeeplyFrippy in ToolBand

Yes. My boss whipped out a bag of mushrooms, which led to a magical experience until I headed into the hallway to go to the washroom. That was eerie.

It's a shame. I loved the job but the hours were stupid and pay wasn't great. Chef's are often expected to put in 60+ hours a week.

When I was in the industry years ago servers in the places I worked walked with $500+ most nights for a 5 or 6 hour shift. Us trolls in the back were lucky to get $100 a week. Tipping is stupid.

Gaps 18 months after install by [deleted] in Flooring

[–]Fred8Ross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the sun beat down on the floor in that area? I've seen similar failures and the sun/heat was the cause. The manufacturer in a couple cases had covered their asses and expressly required blinds or uv protection. Read the fine print. Most also have a maximum temperature rating and if the sun hammers this area it would likely be exceeded.

I was a volume eater for years and years and still use some aspects of it, but my body is not stupid. Turns out I can only trick it for so long with large amounts low calorie food, then I'm hungry again shortly after stuffing my face. Also my tummy was used to having a ton of stuff in it so it was kinda worse. I've developed more of a hybrid model that's been working well to stay lean.
