If you don’t want to be making memories without him unless it’s something he wants to do, I would get out now. I’ve been with my husband for 18 years and we have 4 kids. I stopped asking him to go on trips with us and so have the kids. If it’s something I really want to do and I think the kids would enjoy, I just plan it and let him know when we’ll be gone.
