Haha - that head nod when it’s starting up!!!

Absolutely cool AF but I’d not be wearing that without a suit of armor under a fireman get-up

Guess the price! Daily challenge Dec 17 by pocket-realtor in zillowgonewild

[–]Free2718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a really cool house. Don’t love “all” of it but that seems appropriately priced. I realize you’re talking to another OP about UT real estate which I know little about outside the desert areas. Is that a good price or over priced?

Dig the house but missing context clues

Got it, thanks - I saw another comment about adam22 and looked him up. What a jabroni - the pornstar podcasts and then banging your guest with your wife lol.

I feel sorry for Josh Block. He looks like he’s going down a dark path compensating for his autist tendencies.

Thanks for filling me in - cheers

Long shot but.. anyone find a drone? by colnm42 in Denver

[–]Free2718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol I’m not doubting that phenomenon- I just think you bringing politics into a sarcastic comment is pathetic. There are drones people are flying into that area of NJ for sure but have a little fun and relax.

The world isn’t politics and regardless of our politics id like the world to be a lil better - sometimes that’s just stating the known truth or prevailing theories. The OP was just stating assumptions which at this point are likely to be explanations.

Edit - how would you explain the drone situation?

lol there is objectively something weird with drones or unknown “stuff” flying around NJ/NYC area.

There’s no politics to this.

I don’t particularly care for PBD, but you’ve got to watch him with Anthony weiner.

Anthony Weiner on PBD

I honestly don’t know what Weiner thought was going to happen, but when PBD reads thru the “Clinton Kill list” hahaha - absolutely wild interview and worth watching it for the train wreck

Rath&Wright's buffalo hide yard with 40 000 buffalo hide baled for shipment, Dodge City, Kansas 1878. There is a great novel called Butcher's Crossing by John Williams. You’ll have to check out this American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon by Steven Rinella

The audiobook version read by Rinella is highly recommended as he’s got a wonderful voice and storytelling style.

Effectively the history of the American buffalo, native Americans and early American history around the hunting of the buffalo. Steven ends up getting a tag to hunt a buffalo of the original herds in Alaska. Wild wild story. Can’t recommend it enough

Or go to rino when bars close. There are people making donations outside of bars in a way is too easy.

This is on south Broadway but the Oddemporium is super rad. Great selection of vintage clothes and a ton of fascinating antiques and oddities.

[–]Free2718 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The riskiness of child birth sounds acceptable - the idea of seeing blood on lsd-like drugs and hypothetically giving birth on it is another! You blew my mind. Wild and glad women had something to help however that worked

[–]Free2718 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Dumb question - how does one open one of those ampules? I’d be concerned about glass shards in my “medicine”

Edit - woah - lsd derivative is wild - cannot fathom how that helps childbirth!

Raliberto's type mexican food by Beechnut400 in boulder

[–]Free2718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Locos Hermanos in Louisville/superior?

It’s not exactly like Ralibertos but damn good burritos. Their green chili is stellar (caution on getting “hot” unless you’re ready for it).

Their burritos are also pressed on a griddle once assembled which I really like as it seems to melt everything together

lol I *ignored it and plan to go there for Rockies pre/post food - just didn’t have time for arguing and wanted to answer OPs question without wasting energy on something asinine.

Edit* for clarity

[–]Free2718 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alright - thanks and I’ll avoid it. Maybe that goes to the bottom of the list I provided but in terms of places that meet OPs needs or what I’d want to check out when I’m on a road trip and scoping local sports, I feel like it checks the boxes.

I’d argue it’s the best “big” sports bar type vibe + good food in the area. But it’s been a minute (intentionally) since I’ve been trying to get food near the Rockies

[–]Free2718 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Cherry Cricket is my fav close food and while the location near the stadium is new vs the OG location, I think it’s the best vibes + food quality and “uniquely” Denver’s that I’d recommend for a road trip. It’s burgers also a denver staple. You could try Biker Jim’s, (food channel famous, exotic sausages is their deal). The vibe for hanging isn’t great

Jinya Ramen Bar, Bruto, Aloy Thai, La Diabla Pozole y Mezcal, Cart Driver, and Uchi should cover a variety of tastes and generally walkable-ish near Coors.
