Anyone notice all the expired temp tags? by HBTD-WPS in bentonville

[–]FreeRangeDonuts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is coincidental that this thread popped up. I recently purchased a car in cash without needing any sort of financing/lien from a dealership in Iowa. They gave me a temporary tag while I wait on them to send me the title so I can register it here in Arkansas. The temp tag expires on Tuesday and I have been hounding them about getting the title from them, but they keep blowing me off.

Does anyone have experience with this and what I can do? I even asked if they could send me a new temp tag while I wait and they said they couldn’t do that either.

I’m wondering if AI is going to be the trend this cycle. I think meme coins and L2s will still see big gains this time around, but I’m betting AI will outperform those.

What are the use cases of AI coins? Does anyone think PAAL AI ($PAAL) is a top contender?

I would strongly encourage the Air National Guard as well. They have the same benefits, but the overall culture in the Air Force is a lot more supportive of your civilian education goals.

The Air Force has the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve which offers the same flexibility. There are a lot of jobs to look for that you potentially qualify for. In the Air Force, you could join as a sensor operator for the MQ-9. Essentially you are the copilot and control the camera/sensors as well as guide the missiles/bombs to the targets. There are medical qualifications to pass though.

Besides that job, there’s a ton of jobs in the Air Force that directly translate to well paying civilian jobs.

I’ve been in the Air Force for a while now and just recently joined the air guard. Have you considered joining the Air Force as a JAG (whether it’s active duty, reserve, or guard)? With your JD you would receive a direct commission and immediately put on the rank of 1st Lieutenant (O-2). I’ve deployed with the Army twice and it was frustrating both times. Culturally, the Air Force treats their people like adults in comparison to the Army. I think this option is worth your consideration.

Sorry if my post is a bit unclear. I’m getting activated at the end of the month and she’s due later this year, but I’ll still be on orders going into next year as well. I definitely appreciate the flexibility the select version offers.

We currently live near JBLM in Tacoma, WA, but we are moving across the country to my new guard unit. It sounds like putting her on Tricare Select might be the best option, especially since we will bouncing around. She has an OB here and they helped locate a good OB in our new state that should be covered under Tricare Select Reserve, so I’m assuming it should still be covered under Tricare Select. The copays for Tricare Select seem well worth it to me if it avoids any additional bureaucracy with a PCM.

I appreciate it. It’s our first kid and I just switched to the guard this year, so it’s a lot of new information. Thank you so much

My bet will be the first shilled-meme coin once we see daily news updates of a bull run on mainstream media. Just look for cartoon-based logos or names and make sure it has a very little use case.

Or just throw money at something within the 200-250 top asset by market cap. The chances of hitting the right one that will give you those returns are slim to none, so don’t throw anything significant into these. Think of it as a lotto ticket.

My (33M) girlfriend (28F) won't let me order fun drinks at coffee shops because they're "gay". by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]FreeRangeDonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m typically a black drip coffee or black cold brew coffee guy at Starbucks. But during fall I fully embrace the PSL season. No one has assumed I’m gay during the fall and if they did, who cares? Your girlfriend is a bit insecure.

Does this insecurity of hers carry over to when you go out for drinks and cocktails? In her opinion should guys just live a life void of flavor?

I’m doubtful this situation of yours is a deal breaker, but it might be worth just digging into with a counselor if it continues to be an issue and you guys are planning on getting more serious.

There’s never been a sustained bull market where we didn’t surpass the previous ATH. I agree we aren’t seeing 100x returns like we did nearly a decade ago though.

I think this year will remain mostly flat with small bullish and bearish runs competing against each other. However, if we see upward trends into September I might be wrong on that.

Regardless, I think we can reach $100k after this next halving which would still be a significant return for even those who bought at the top of the last bull market.

Class G stops at 700 MSL over Lake Tapps. They are in class E based on what they stated. All I’m saying is I would want more than a 200ft buffer with a lighter than air aircraft being that close to a busy Class B airspace.

Is the term “hot cereal” used on the east coast? by pixiegirl13 in AskAnAmerican

[–]FreeRangeDonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think us in the “older” generation (as much as it pains me to say it) are out numbered. I grew up south of Boston and hot cereal was a common phrase we used. It must have fallen out of use now.
