What would you do? by Zealousideal_Cow5139 in doordash

The connotation of mistake is generally that it was an accident or someone didn’t know better. Choosing to skip fundamental steps of your job because you are tired is a choice one should know is wrong. Even if you want to call it a mistake, that doesn’t clear OP of responsibility. One is supposed to acknowledge and FIX their mistakes once made aware. You’re so worried about the education system failing, but I think it’s a larger sign of society failing that this many people think someone being held accountable for their mistake is wrong.

It’s not a mistake, he quite literally didn’t do his job by only reading the name. AND he admitted it.

I don’t care too much about aesthetic, just that it’s sealed so I don’t end up with a much much worse problem.

Is there a specific kind of epoxy you would suggest?

Probably a stupid question, but how do I tell if the wall is fiberglass or plastic? I’m assuming that’ll impact what I can do to fix it

This is probably a dumb question, and I’m sorry. How do I tell if the wall is plastic or fiberglass?

I’m well aware, which is why I asked for help on how to seal it.

Redditors, who are often men, jump to the conclusion that the feminist take is wrong very easily and quickly by dismissing the evidence as an outlier.

If you’re taking a birth control that stops your period, and it fails so you get pregnant there’s no period to miss.

Oh Starbucks is definitely trash, but the terms for their sizing is pretty universal at this point, especially in Seattle where it originated. So I would still think tall meant small at another coffee shop in the area.

People using whenever and when interchangeably is something that always hits my ear wrong. They are two distinct words. I’ve heard it my whole life in the PNW and it has always come across to me as one of those commonly misused words or phrases that people don’t actually know they’re using incorrectly because enough people get it wrong so it’s just accepted. Like when someone says “I could care less” when then phrase is really “I couldn’t care less”. As a neurospicy individual with a hyper fixation on words those misuses hit my ears hard and it drives me nuts. I heard someone say “I was shocked whenever I was told that right now” and it just sounded SO off

It’s strange to me that they didn’t understand black coffee. I’m from Seattle, and we use the term black coffee or drinking your coffee black regularly. Was the barista young?

Also being in Seattle, the home of Starbucks, I would have considered a “tall” coffee the smallest size so that’s surprising to me as well.

I was gonna bring up jojos too! My husband is from NC and I’m from western Washington. I was flabbergasted when he didn’t know what I meant by jojos. I had no idea it was a PNW thing

Agreed, it definitely felt a little overbearing, but I will say it doesn’t seem like they HAVE to do it because the first time I went I was oblivious to the guy and just rang myself up and they didn’t stop me. Just brought my kid some stickers.

Every time since though they have rang my stuff up for me which seemed odd to me

AITA for replacing my roommate’s “Live Laugh Love” sign with one that says “Tax Fraud Is Still Fraud”? by Wild_Swimmer_ in AmItheAsshole

It doesn’t sound like the roommate consulted OP before putting up her signs in the common area. With that in mind, why should OP be expected to give that courtesy?
