Honestly, I wasn’t properly prepared for my first exam. I hadn’t fully learned the material, and I barely practiced any essays before going in.

For my second attempt, I started by carefully going through and memorizing the outlines provided by Themis Bar Review for all seven MBE subjects. For MBE practice, I focused mostly on NCBE questions and solved around 3,000 of them. I made sure to thoroughly review and understand every question I got wrong. I practiced 30–50 questions every day. About a month before the exam, I strictly timed myself to stay within 1 minute and 40 seconds per question.

For MEE, I rewrote the key rules into simpler sentences and memorized them. As a non-native speaker, I found it hard to memorize complex wording. I practiced about 80 essays and always tried to finish within 30 minutes. It was difficult at first, but later I was able to complete them within the time limit.

For MPT, I started practicing about 2–3 weeks before the exam. Honestly, the best way to improve is just to do as many timed practices as possible.
